Datacrons need a change

Which ones are still not possible to get as bodytype 3+ ? Just so I know which not to bother with on my Trooper who is bt 3..

Some datacrons are fine. But the ones that require groups or rediculous periods of time, such at the infamous Tataoinne datacron, need changing for sure.

Seriously, if I have to wait so long that my game logs out from me being AFK that surely a sign that you're making me waiting to bloody long.

I can say one thing, the quality of computer matters on these. I can make many of the jumps easily on my rig, but move to my wife's laptop that she plays on and I can't do it (when I had just done so on my rig). The lag she experiences causes the jumps to act completely different.

On the tat one, there is an alternate way of getting up there. All you need is a JK or Jugg friend to help. I know it works, cause I've done it.

I've felt this for a long time. I went through and got every single datacron on my main character, but have gotten almost zero on my others because they are so tedious. I don't really like the idea of them being bound to legacy, but it would be nice if there was a legacy perk to share datacrons across legacy (this could be one of the requires legacy level 25 - 50 perks that are sorely needed!).

I got all datacrons (67/67) on my large body character (Empire only so may not apply to Republic). There was only one that I think that may not be possible (but I got like 6 months ago so they may have fixed). On Alderaan there's one you have to go through a crack in a wall and my toon wouldn't fit. I got it by interceding to a character that did fit.

This. That's the only one. The people complaining OMG MY POOR FAT BODY CANT GET THEM havent actually tried.

Datacrons are fine. I'm far from a fanboy, but if you dont like the jumping or cant do it or cant get help or dont have the patience or just dont want to try... then dont do them. You arent missing out on anything that a plain old stat stim wont give you for far less time and effort.

I got all the datacrons I wanted with only my keyboard. Not hard at all.

The Tattooine balloon ride is a "WTH were they thinking?" one. They should probably speed up that balloon, but there are ways to avoid the ride, so there's always that option. Does it still despawn sometimes when you're almost there? I haven't had it happen to me. /knocks on wood

IDK if they ever fixed the 1 or 2 where body type 3 and 4 can't get to them, but yeah, that's another /facepalm worthy mistake. Other than that, they really aren't that hard. If you're having trouble with the jumping, TURN OFF SPRINT. I haven't played a platform jumper in 20 years, and I get most of them first try.

I would probably support making them faction/account wide unocks with the bonuses kicking in at different levels (e.g. get all the Coruscant/DK bonuses at level 10, all the Nar Shadaa bonuses at level 20, etc). It would be too easy mode for brand new characters to have the full stat bonuses.

The only problem I see with the legacy thing is that it 'could' open up issues for people (like me) who have toons on both sides on a server. They would have to add a code that would prevent cross faction datacrons from being counted.
