I had a great time. Ran it with guildies and tried not to use the walkthrough. Wow, it was fun!

Almost all of the quests were interesting and surprising. Most of the time, we did not know what to expect or even do and were pleasantly surprised when we figured it out. The turret, the casino and the BH were my favorite quests. Also, I enjoyed going back to planets I had not visited in a while and killing 50 lev mobs in the midst of the low levs mobs.

The only quest that felt like a grind was the Apparatus quest requiring the smuggler boxes until we figured out that the boxes could be found in all sections on Nar. Once we understood that, we found the boxes we needed while running other Nar quests. Easy peasy.

All told, acquired lots of loot/rewards, earned some additional creds, and got a good setup for future events, end game, and or stories. The Gree fleet is on its way, and I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks BW!

I enjoyed the event as well. At first I was a little overwhelmed by all the stuff you had to do, and yes there were a few problems with bugs and over-crowded areas, but soon it became a lot of fun and encouraged talking and helping each other between characters. This event was a lot of fun!! Plus my Jedi looks pretty snazzy in a few of those Sand People pieces
What a crazy random happenstance!

I believe the event was a bit lame.

Here are my reasons:

1: Pretty much all the even items for sell looked unattractive to me except the BoL weapons and they were all rifles...***? Maybe I missed something there or more were added after I completed all the quests.

2:Took me only a couple hours to do all the quests from the even. I would have loved if they made several daily quests.

3: Farming badges looked useless to me according to the fact that the items offered were not tempting.

In short the event was empty and BW gave little efforts to make it!

I agree, BW deserves some love for the event! I didn't participate in the Rak event, because I was too busy leveling at the time, but this was a lot of fun. A great distraction from all the fighting and honestly, the most addicted to TOR I've been since launch. Props to OP for fleshing out his/her opinion, I know BW appreciates the feedback. I thought it was funny and maybe even holds ideas for future events. I mean, cmon, the First Annual Dune Sea Smoke Out & Dewback Bar-B-Que sounds awesome! I'll be the first one there on my broke down Chevin speeder!

*Side note: 2nd poster, lame.

This was a good event BUT a little extra effort to conclude the story would have made it a great event.
The story went like this: The chevin arrives on nar shadda offering everyone a chance to take par on a race to riches. But wait imperial intelligence thinks they might be up to something more. The end.

This. The only new content in the last four months and it can't even stand on its own.

Yeah, I get it, the Gree fleet will arrive in a future event. How exciting. I am giddy with an

Thanks for the post OP.

I enjoyed the quests because " I did not read any spoilers" and trundled around doing them instead. I also enjoyed the smokey speeder, bowcasters, moddable bracers/belt and wandering about getting tokens for a guild mate who was trying to collect 240.

Good luck , enjoy the game

I liked the overall idea of the event, but the execution was a bit flawed.
Breaking down the event:
* The background quest with Imperial Intelligence/SIS was good, quests as we know them.
* Most of the item quests were interesting, with some exceptions:
I really don't want to play Standing In Line The MMORPG(tm) ever.
Those quests would have been perfect for a small story instance.
Exactly that's what they meant to do in the beginning: stop the lines waiting for the boss/quest to respawn.
Also, the item you had to get from the smuggler crates:
really annoying when the random number generator is against you.
* Loot. You say different events will offer different rewards? Bad idea. If you don't give
every class exactly the same incentive to participate in an event, you'll only earn the ire of the shunned players.
With the rakghoul color crystal, it may not have been that cool or interesting for the blaster users,
but at least they could use the crystals. This time around, it was Vanguards and imperial Agents.
Not even two whole classes. Swing and a miss. (nota bene: the only wookiee companion in the game
can't even use the bowcaster....)

Other than my points above, I liked the event. Especially the one quest with the broken down speeder,
that one was pretty cool...

To all the haters: If the game sucks why are you still paying for it?

Great work BioWare! Got to go back to a couple of my favourite worlds and wander around, had something new to do, and met some awesome players! Interactions with other MMO players aren't always awesome, but in this case there were players chatting, lining up for missions as part of the event, and even helping each other kill an enemy for one of the items. Maybe it was just my server, but it seemed for a brief time like there was even more of a real, civil community.
