No, I'm pretty sure you're not a customer unless you pay. Nobody cares about the massive droves of whining forum trolls anymore. They were a big deal a few years back but after they ruined a number of good MMOs publishers and developers eventually caught on. Those are mainly just people with sad ,little, petty lives. People with no money to spend on their product to begin with. BW has done a great job of ignoring them

I know I'm going to start sounding like a broken record soon but a lot of the people voicing their concerns are not the same people that have been all doom and gloom predicting the end of the world and post things for the sole purpose of getting a rise out of people. A lot of us are people that have supported the game and are paying and for the most part planned to continue to do so after the F2P transition and are simply concerned about how much more beyond our subscription that we are going to be expected to pay for. Depending on what happens your right maybe some of us will no longer be customers and we won't matter but for the time being we do.

I remember back when your subscription fee was just to cover access to the servers and your characters and stuff. New content was specifically reserved for expansions. Free updates in MMO's were mostly bug fixes and, rarely, class balance changes.

It's great that MMO's do tend to hand out free content now, but complaining about it is getting annoying. When you agree to pay 15 a month, nowhere in that agreement does it include any additional content.

That's not to say Bioware deserves a free pass in the court of public opinion when they promise new content for free and fail to deliver. Just stop acting like you've been ripped off.

JTL was NEVER supposed to be in the game for launch, never.

It was in developement before launch, yes, but was annouced way before SWG went Live as a paid for expansion.




However the big issue with Makeb is not really if they charge for or or not, but rather that they SAID they would not charge for it and now are back tracking on that pledge.

If they'll back track on that, then there is NOTHING in SWTOR they won't backtrack on.

In a old interview with Raph Koster he said the space part of the game was suppose to be part of the original game but due to time constraints SOE decided to release it as an expansion later on... If I can find that article i'll link it..

Here's the thing about Makeb, if since the original announcement they have added a ton more content to it, then by all means sell it as an expansion pack, but if it's nothing more then 2-3 hrs of content then ya I would be pissed...
