Datacrons need a change

if you can get your character from one planet to another and play flashpoints and do quests you HAVE more than the required "reflexes" to get all the datacrons...

get hints, ask someone that has done it, get a friend with a puller to do it and pull you to the datacron, plenty of ways to get them

I play with my roommate and whenever we stumble upon a datacron (no i don't use guides its like cheating to me) i do all the jumping and then i do it for him cause he sucks, so im thiinking you suck at platforming like my roomate and datacrons don't need to be changed. Also if you find it to difficult to get to them then don't do it heir entirley optional and have a minimal impact as a whole on your character.

I have no problem getting them.

But why remove them completely? They can move them

I can't deny i got somewhat irate on a couple of the datacrons but that was purely my incompetence more than any fault of the game engine

I collected every single datacron and I really enjoyed doing it (except for Tatooine jawa balloon one. Waiting for half an hour for a baloon to come and then waiting about 45 mintues to reach destination, what were you thinking!?)

Though I have to say I hate the idea of having to do it 7 more times for all my alts, so I think they should be considered 'Legacy Unlocks' or something, as in you collect them all with one character and all your characters have them. This would also allow you to truly collect all of them (For example Korriban datacrons as a Republic character).

Platforming, however, should stay as it is right now, it's perfect, except for that damn balloon, you really need to speed it up like 20 times minimum.

Datacrons are awesome. Cron hunts with the guild every week is so fun No change plz ^^

(Go hunting with a Trooper/BH and he/she can help you with the harpoon ability during duel)

It should be bound to Legacy. So you only have to find it once per account.

Hunting datacrons for "once" is fine for me, but do it & do it & do it ... again for every single char is pointless and time wasting.

Should make it legacy acheivement across all chars (okay, many twice for Pub vs Imp version).

I got much better things to do ingame, like space combat missions.

i had problem to get some of them, some couldn't even touch them without friend's help
but thats the point, a content that need time and effort and patience and group help to finish it, like Heroics, Areas, WZs, FPS, OPs

First of all, the stat bonuses granted by datacrons are negligible at best. Even if you have collected every datacron in the game it will not grant you enough of a bonus as to equate to any kind of serious advantage. And the relics that you can make using the matrix shards are on even keel and in some cases are actually less powerful then relics you can get elsewhere in the game.

Second of all, it is fun for many players. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they should be removed for everyone else.

And third, they are completely optional. Can't handle precision jumping with your 10 year old laptop? Then ignore them and move on.
