They have a clear choice, either give patches and content to subscibers for no extra charge or have no subscribers. Its that simple and they know it. Who is going to subscribe if all subscription gives you is access to ops and warzones.

I did write up a well explained and written cancel message, of course it was eaten asking me to login again...
So re typed it and bit fast and sloppy. Free to play with getting no support from SWTOR in regards to our guilds transfer issues. What cracks me up and the slow release of new stuff items cosmetic ect, yet that is going to be part of the F2P revenue generation. Makes me wonder how long ago they started making new stuff and holding it for the coming F2P system instead of releasing it for those that have played since day one and paid for it. I had great hopes and dreams maybe they will get things going better but I think its time to wander off.

Just a copy of the 2nd message after first was eaten, sorry its a bit messy.

I might see you guys in the future to some degree! But hope everyone continues getting their enjoyment out of all the play! Besafe all.
Thank you and thanks to your friends for your service.

It's been real but the game just wasn't worth the sub for me anymore.

I wouldn't care if they charged for it, if it was actually a new expansion, but this isn't a new expansion, its replacing existing content, Ilum was such an epic fail that BW took it out of the game, so there is no "endgame planet"

charging us for this would be the last straw

I don't think they understand at all, they continue to make poor decisions that angers portions of the playerbase and then they basically go "What did we do, why is everyone leaving? Players just don't understand us and this game".

If you dont feel like you are being ripped off thats fine for you. However, its people like you that allow the game industry to continue to... what I believe to be.... rip us off. Clear enough for you now? Am I calling you stupid directly? No.

And yes, retarted was a poor word choice, I admit that and edited it.
Well since we have already determine you line of thinking is skewed, It would stand reason..that you history is skewed. Trust me on this, your opinion as to what is Exorbitant and mine also differ.

Let's all just face it, there are two different camps with two different lines of thinking about this game and both thinks the other camp has a skewed line of thought. Communication between both camps is just a waste of time and can only result in warnings/infractions over time.

And in a years time, when the game is in maintenance mode or shut down, we will get a blog from an ex-developer. That blog will list every reason why the game failed. The reasons in that list will be the same reasons that are posted in this very forum. At the end of the blog he will blame the consumer for the biggest reason the game failed.
James Ohlen: " For 2012 we really want players to feel like they're getting their money's worth. You're going to see so many changes and additions to the Star Wars Universe. It's going to be impressive. We have our Update 1.2 coming in the next week and then after that it's going to continue to roll out month after month. It's exciting."

Yeah, Im already getting them. Dont much care though as my sub ends tonight.

As for the guy above you, that thinks Im skewed. Enjoy your sinking ship. Have fun being nickled and dimed to death for the next year... and then next year wonder why only 50k players are left and there are no further content updates. In 10 years from now you can continue to defend why games have moved on, even further, and why its ok to charge you every time to advance to the next level of the game.

No they dont, people demanded, and i say again demanded group finder, they got it, people left, people demanded ranked, demanded, they got it they still left, now people say they demaded other things when infact what they demanded 1st was features, not content but features to be added to the game.

So less of they they havnt done this or they didnt do that, they did exactly what the loudest on the forums wanted them todo and now people are complaining about it.
