Bring Back White Crystals

I would be ok with this, simply having them obtainable again would give players another chance to get them, or make them cost a bit more say 2M credits from the vendor so the folks that got them already won't feel too bad. I missed out on getting a white crystal as I was still leveling my character and could only make enough credits for either the speeder or the white crystal that would be removed in 1.2. I went with the speeder but still would have liked to get the crystal, unfortunately time was not on my side.

It was 2.5 million per for the +41s. Yea those sperm sabers are quite pricey. Master grade jedi babies can be produced with it.

So you chose to spend real time to get them-others would prefer to spend real money.

Somehow this translates into you 'earned' them while others would be 'handed' them.

I agree they should be rare but what if you are on the other side of things, you want one but you wouldn't have one so then what? You feel like you should be able to get one. Well that's exactly what a lot of people feel too. God I can't believe how inconsiderate some human beings are.

Here's a great idea, bring back white color crystals and make them a chore to get, but at least they are possible. Better rare than non existent.

And only charge monthly to SWTOR HIPSTERS

Thats a cute quote bc its not even what i said. Its fine that others have it now bc they EARNED it, just like I did. One of the main reasons I put in the time to get the white crystals was bc the devs said they would never return after 1.2. If they said after 1.2 they would return in a few months or even a year I would of only purchased one. MMOs need items like this to hold subs. Having two white crystals and it being very rare will keep me playing and paying. I dont want to give up my uniqueness and move to another MMO.

Yes I plan on subbing even into F2P. Thanks you BioWare for keeping white crystals out of the game at this point. I hope you continue this trend down the road.

Cash shops are meant for things like this. The only way they could screw it up is by making the cash shop color crystals have better stats.

MMO's do not need items like that to hold subs. For every player like you, who is claiming they won't be interested in subbing if "unique" items are reintroduced at a later date, 10 players will come back because they can get it again.

They never said that matey. They said the Speeders would never return. Regarding the crystal they said: the crystals will be unobtainable for "at least a number of months"

I'm sorry you were misinformed but I researched the crystals at the time (as I wasn't keen on spending money on 5 of them...have 5 force user toons). I asked, looked up, PM'ed, Tweeted etc and always got the same answer. White crystals will be returning at some point. That convinced me to wait and save up (am upto 53 mil in credits now).

Some things should remain rare/extinct imo. However if the developers say an item will return one day then they should stick to their guns.
