Suggestion: As Legacy Level Increases prices decrease for Legacy Unlocks.

/signed I have 4 characters right now (2 50, 1 fast approaching 50, and another 18) and I'm finding it hard to fund it all. From mailing tons of $$ to them for perks, legacy gear, and crafting. I now have to put my leveling on hold so I can go back and grind dailies for a few days to get my wallet sufficiently fed (it might also be said that I'm not entirely broke either, 1.05 million on my main, 30k on my other 50, and several hundred k on my 40)

I hit legacy level 25 this weekend. I am now at full "privilages" for all the perks to "spend" my money. To be honest there really isn't much I want to spend my money on. IMNSO reducing the prices as legacy level increases would make the legacy paid perks more attractive.

Totally agree, otherwise all Legacy becomes is a credit sink. Let's take Race Unlocks as a perfect example of what Legacy should be. You level a race to 50 it unlocks that race - FREE. Or you Pay 1.5 Mil to unlock that race. It doesn't say, level a race to 50 *then* pay 1.5 million. In that case, effort = reward, that's how all of Legacy should be.

I don't normally sign threads like this, but seeing how the Legacy system currently works compared to how great it could me just makes me sad. So /sign.

They certainly need to do something more appealing with it though. Across several different characters, I have bought the Black Hole Transport once, and not deemed ANY other 1.3 legacy item to be worth the credits. If they were account wide I'd get them all (and probably so even if the cost more too), because it wouldn't feel like such a waste, but as is, I can't see why I would want to spend the kind of money required to unlock them on even a fresh character who will get maximum benefit.

It was a sad truth that buying affection gifts to the price of what the perk costs will give you a bigger yield than buying the perk (unless you buy stupidly overpriced stuff on the GTN)

I now went and bought Legacy gear for my alts. Now I'm down to less than a million on my main, just over 1k on my other 50, and 350k on my 42. I need to get a bunch of stims to sell now so I can A, make more stims and B afford to buy my remaining schematics. My Trooper is gonna be barely able to afford his Legacy gear. /sigh

Agree. My second (and only other) 50 is a Zabrak sentinel, which I love because now I get both the light AND dark Zabrak unlock. That is awesome. The race unlock is one of the main reasons why I'm running a Chiss IA (aside from the story!); I want to eventually have a Chiss Gunslinger.

The Black Hole and Fleet Vanguard transports are the only things I've bought on my main. I bought the PVP and Class leveling unlocks on my IA (level 27 now) and although they do help, spending 600k/character to level faster seems like a bad idea. Maybe a choice of 1 tree to unlock and the rest you'd have to pay for would be a better scheme?

I have four level 50s, two in their 30s and a couple more in the teens. I am one bubble away from Legacy 50 and outside of speeder perks for the lower levels, the repair bots on my raiding toons, a ship dps dummy, and a few "experimental" attempts with the legacy experience-gain perks (which are lackluster in performance), I haven't seen anything I want. (Well, maybe the rocket boots, but I keep having better things to do with my credits )

With the recent reduction in legacy levels needed, there is no perk, reason, or need to grind legacy levels after 10 now. So 40 levels of uselessness. Yes, they're earned freely from doing random stuff you're doing anyway. But it would be nice if we had some small reward now and again. A reduction in price, a free unlock of anything for all your toons every 10 levels maybe, something rewarding, stimulating and worthwhile. But yeah, don't think BW cares.

Maybe when SWTOR goes F2P we'll get a bonus cartel coins for every legacy level we've earned... to buy silly pets, ugly over priced social gear and mounts.

I'll sign. This would be even more welcome since lowering the level needed to unlock things is even more of a slap in the face to people who have put in the time to level this. So far I have bought nothing with the legacy except the field repair droid and the Black Hole pass. Even the level 10 speeder is useless to me as I have no more character slots.

This game is certainly not missing money sinks.
