Now they close my post asking for a version rollback, maybe "threadclosers" are the only part of the team not affected by the PASSIVITY virus.

So i ask for it here:

MAKE A VERSION ROLLBACK NOW, it takes a few mins and allows us to play the game the way we want.
A long time from now, in a galaxy far, far away, fanbois will realize they hurt games they love in a way no troll could ever dream of.

They are currently focussing on f2p, no one cares about old bugs anymore.

Or didn't you know? The game has nooooooo problems whatsoever: the fact that 1.5 million people left has nooooooooothing to do with bugs or so, nono, it is only because players want f2p that thegame failed!

Yes, if I recall correctly, they needed to fix something after 4 of the last 5 patches.

I think that their bosses decided that bugs & testing have no priority, all resources are too busy working on f2P to care for us, the remaining players.

No worries. Your campaign gear and all the BIS stats will be obselete in 2 months anyway. What this MMO game needs are nice social frills, $500 flying mounts and a 3 storey assortment of nice looking gear which we can buy from the cash shop for real money to parade around in the fleet. Barbie style play on the fleet is the current community and social media rage, haven't you heard? If you want to play a real game, try Xbox.

You don't have much experience with software services, do you?

I don't work for Bioware, but the service I maintain has as many customers. A version rollback takes us about 3 hours to prepare, and we'll lose the next couple of days of development trying to reset. The only time we ever do it is when we have a critical problem that we don't know how to fix. In any other case, its easier, cheaper, and faster to simply fix the problem with an emergency update.

It's even harder when you have to reverse-patch a million clients.

...but that's probably not the feedback you were looking for, as it doesn't serve your gimme-gimme expectations.

sounds like they are doing their job right for once to me. tantrums have no place on a public forum.

Are you saying there are only 200k players now? The highest number I heard was 1.7million. I find that hard to believe.

Seriously Allison you're the only Mod left aren't you? I don't see any other mods on the forum anymore, you're the only one who posts. Are you working as a volunteer or something?

I'm glad that in 48 hours the bug went from 'we're investigating' to 'we've confirmed it' to 'we've definitely confirmed it'.
