Didn't want to jump on the Anti-SWTOR train, but...

Yesterday's patch should have came with something more than a pet and comms. At the very least, it should have came with some sort of information about 1.4 release date, perhaps some answers to what is in store for the game in the very near future. Something to generate some sort of interest in the game in light of the sharp downturn of subs just in the last couple of weeks.

But... "Nope. Here is a few comms. And a pet. This should hold you over another couple of months"...

For months, I've blasted the haters of this game because I love it so much...but I'm finally starting to crack. I'm beginning to get real impatient.

Yeah, I know..."the fall" is supposed to be when F2P happens and we supposedly (?) get 1.4. But we all know that 'The Fall' means 'The Last Day of the Fall' in BW's interpretation of the calendar.

Actually the pet and Comms were not part of the patch, were part of the Free Transfers rewards. But I hear you on the lack of content, with SWTOR going F2P I dont know if we will see more big content patches like 1.2, we are going to see smaller more frequent patches after the game changes to Freemium

It has been said that we will get a world event this month

AND, their new dual access (sub/free) does not come until November.

OP needs to learn to read, and comprehend, the Bioware announcements, IMO.

I hope we get something soon, if not I would still be happy with concrete information. Which we aren't getting. It'd be nice if they said what the world event was and when it is coming, when HK was being released and the details surrounding it, the actual date of f2p and the date of 1.4. This no info crap is getting old

1) Statement: Opinion of OP not necessarily everyone. But, I agree some form of communication would be nice. At least they are staying true to form and keeping us in the dark and at the mercy of the tin foil hat brigade.

You already know what content is coming this year, just not when, but you know Makeb, HK, Ancient Hypergates, Beyond Space (The Raid, or as I like to say, Beyond the Cannon) have been announced. It's coming, it takes them time, I'd rather have them get it right, than have 1000 more posts on the boards complaining about how the new content sucks or is buggy.

If we have to wait months for the small list of things you announced, that's pretty weak. We've been 4 months with nothing of substance changing and no concrete info or communication. One more raid, flashpoint, warzone will equate to a week or two of playtime. A level cap raise is a thinly veiled excuse to try to grab more money.

Those aren't real improvements to the game, and still leave the gaping holes in its facade unaddressed. It's been the same strategy that's driven this game into the ground slowly but surely. Release what they want, ignore what the fans want, and have what you release be a fraction of the content expected of a major MMO given the timeline.

Wut? I don't follow stuff all that much, but even I know F2P doesn't happen until the fall, and given the pattern of any MMO they won't really give much information of an upcoming patch other than tidbits.
