First MMORPG for the bunch of you?

I don't think there has ever been a patch, in the history of the genre, where there were not bugs LOL

If you are "unsubbing" because there are bugs after a patch, I'm not sure what to tell you.
May the Schwartz be with you....

No wise guy, not my first. Read what we have posted. THEY WERE NOT BROKEN BEFORE BIOWARE ATTEMPTED TO FIX THEM.

We are both at end-game now, and they broke the only things we do...every day...for months...THEY.....WERE....NOT.....BROKEN. The people who reported the "bugs" they attempted to fix are the things that are broken, and now all of the end-game for guilds.

Please read

It happens. MMOs patch content, fix one thing, break three other things. Rinse and repeat. If you don't like it, don't play MMOs.

Is this your first MMO or something?
When you find yourself surrounded by hostile Clowns... always go for the "Juggler" first.

TLDR version, yup I agree with you
I do not consider PvP to be an "MMO Mainstay", I personally prefer FPS PvP. What this post is mainly about is PvE content.

And, I seriously doubt whether 8 "top-end soloists" would ever beat 8 "top-end guilded" PvPers on a consistent basis in any game on any platform ever made. It is a really ignorant assumption to ever think they would. Can it happen? of course it can. Still it is highly doubtful.

You can find the same post, word for word, on any given MMORPG board. Wow was famous for breaking things with its patches (and that was a great game), to the point that we officers changed our raid nights out from Tuesday so that we would not lose a day of raiding.

Happens all the time.

Oh my god...another actually quoting before reading. Ok, let me spell it out for you:

Today's Patch Fixed:

Explosive Conflict
Using the probe launcher in Denova Minefield now reveals probes more consistently.

This was not broken. I have completed Denova countless times on 5 charcaters. NOW IT IS BROKEN AND CANNOT BE COMPLETED

Don't you get it? For some reason they got complaints, and tried to fix a mechanic that WAS NOT BROKEN. Now, after this, not only is it broken, the entire Operation cannot be completed.

Does that sound like "business as usual" to you?

I know what you mean. My point is:

Someone (or groups of someones) had a hard time finding the droid...even though it spawns in the same spot throughout the minefield.

Bioware listened to these "buffoons" and attempted to fix something that was not broken, the end result is they now broke it.

This is the straw that broke the camel's back:

They are listening too much to the same minority that cannot do things, and as such I am now unable to do the only content that interests me.

I know MMOs fix one thing and break another. But when they listen to "buffoons" and try to fix something that isn't broken...then break the SAME THING THEY WERE TRYING TO FIX for said "buffoons". Yes, it is time to unsub.

Good day

A) I read your post.

B) yeah, pretty much business as usual for MMOs. They fix things that need fixing and break things in the process. They also fix things that don't need to be fixed.... ie: break things. Yep.... MMMO BAU.

This your first MMO or something??

Understood what you said, skip. Understand the issue just fine. There was a consistency issue with Denova. You may have not experienced it, but it was there. They attempted to fix it and ran into a string of spaghetti code that crashed it. What else is new. LOL

What I'm telling you is that it happens all the time. Once again, Wow has had to shut down many times for emergency patches for issues Identical or similar to this one. It is the nature of code in a game of this magnitude.
May the Schwartz be with you....

So, you quitting then? I'm sure someone will want your stuff if you are.

Really, dude.... you need to step back from the keyboard, take a deep breath, and relax. It's just a game. They will get what they mucked up repaired.
