Which is exactly what BioWare does. I'm more curious about what whining you see on GW2 forums. Other than classes being OP when the game was in beta, alot could change between last months BWE3, and actual release. I just updated another 10,000+ files last night from the GW2 client myself. But how many actual complaints about bugs and optimization which needs to be fixed before it is released, which they still have almost 3 weeks for.

Cause I just went there like an hour ago, and all I saw were post about character naming schemes, item database for crafting, gathering, and PvP from people who learned their class. As for whining, I didnt see any other than the usual <Profession> is OP!, and then there was the QQing about the QQing about the <Profession> is OP! threads. @_@
I did more of a in depth research on Guild wars forums than any other games I looked up mainly because I'm going to give Guild wars 2 a try. I'll never abandon swtor completely. I'm with it till the wheels fall off(Which in my own opinion feels kinda close). I'll go f2p at LEAST here. But I looked up the Guild wars 2 forums official, gamefaqs, and IGN. Most complaints are about major lag issues in starting areas, Wonky Animations(Toons seem to skip around not run), Stale voice Acting, etc. Basically anything they can gather from Beta they are thinking is going to be long term. I'll say the character customization for GW'2 to is a WORLD and BEYOND better than swtor, I so sorely wish we had that kind of toon customization. Anyway yeh.

So let's admit that I believe you about the 6 months subs.
Still you're in the forums of a game you dont like? Explain (if you can)
Why not spend that time and energy in the forums of another game?
Dont tell us that you get an erect1on when you create a troll post

A comment about GW2:
Probably a very good game!
(will try it that's for sure)
But I give it two weeks after release, and the same troll base will start to populate the forums and QQing everywhere about everything. 2-4 months later, they'll start to talk about how the game is dead... and so on.

nope...and usually people who are happy about something tend to forget to give positive feed back, so in nay public forum you will always find people who are angry more often then not...it is what it is people suck and you cannot please all of the people all of the time.

I used to see a lot of complaints in SWG, but maybe 25% of what we see here...

The reason for that was the Devs communicated Daily with the community, gave regular updates of patch releases, and future updates and seeked Testing constantly of that content.

90% of the complaints here would be shut down in 5 mins flat with a Dev Thread release, and decent information.

SO in answer to your OP....

Yes there are Happy Fan bases, just not here.

I renewed my Rift account this week as even after dailies on my 5 toons I still have several hours per day for playing and it's been since what? April since we got new content with SWToR? Anyways, the Rift forums are Night and Day different from SWToR forums. I check the SWToR forums daily and had begun to think all the complaining and general vileness here was the norm. Perhaps it is...but then Rift is the exception. I left Rift to come play SWToR...and now an wondering why I ever left in the first place.

4 reasons actually

1. hoping something changes that will cause me to re-sub
2. combat BS(and let's face it, fan boy BS is RAMPANT)
3. general forums pvp is better than in game pvp
4. boredom at work

don't worry I'll be gone when I'm actually playing something else... but, really, is that a good thing?

It boggles my mind with all the Star Wars fans around the world this game didnt take off into the skies of success. It's THE biggest movie franchise world wide ever.
IP doesn't mean a whole lot.

Ask Raph Koster or Marc Jacobs or Cryptic Studios...

I could go on....

But you can't say that all those people left because they disliked the game or hated it. Sure a percentage of them did but others simply liked the game but decided to move on. The difference is that those that disliked it were more likely to post that on the forum.
