Once more a thread full of
"I dont like the game but I post in its forums" dudes,
"I dont like the game but I still pay for it" guys and
"I am sorry to inform you that the game is dead and we're all gonna die" forecasting doomsayers.
Go play something else if it's that bad, do you realize that you make yourself look like total fools by doing so?
Obviously you dont. You may even think you're smart

The F2P option will double if not triple the population of the game.
SWTOR is the second most played and popular MMO of the market (like it or not)
and will remain a top MMO, even if you leave. And to be totally honest, I hope you'll leave.
But for good you know, not the "I leave" you usually post, a real one.

Yap. They just can't admit it. It is the second most played and one on the market. They want it to fail so much and somehow in their head, it already did because it didn't get 5 mill or more subs stable throughout all these months.

BTW, I like your post. F2P option will make this game available to LOADS of people. Subscriber numbers are great and all, but I think it's more of a better thing when you have people PLAYING your game than boasting about sub numbers.

You forgot in your list the "Fanbois who think all is well and there's nothing worthy of criticism about this game"

Btw, many of us 'haters' actually like the game, but aren't optimistic about what we've been seeing (or to be more accurate NOT seeing). Some games pull off f2p well, some don't. We shall wait and see what this one does. Regardless, there's no positive way to spin going from 2 million sales to about 600-800k subs. F2P may indeed bring many more people, but how many of those will actually sub, use the cash shop, etc?

Like your OPINION is just as factual as those that you decry. I mean you said it and you are some random dude on the internet so it MUST be true.

SWTOR will succeed but it will never be a MMORPG in the true sense of what the term used to be. Welcome to casual corner the new face of MMORPGs or CMORPGs .. yeah I like that .... SWTOR is simply the most Successful CMORPG of all time!!!!!!!11!!!

I remember reading somewhere that it's easier to make 130 players pay 1€ by using micro-transaction than having 10 subscribers paying 13€ each.
Such a solid mmo, with all the improvements we've already seen so far since the release, coupled with the SW theme, will attract a lot of new players when they will make the F2P option active.
Some of them will continue like that, pure F2P, some others will leave simply because they dont like the game.
But I'm sure that a fair proportion will use the micro-transaction tool and pay 1,2, maybe 5€ a month, some others will sub, or resub. More people, more activity on the servers. More pve, more pvp, more auctions....
And if Bioware starts to release more content more often...

Just as the OP, I am confident

I hope F2P works but i feel the bigger problem is a lack of content...how long has it been since we even had a world event?

I am a fanboy and have to come post on the forums about all the haters because I would rather play the forums than the game.
If this game is so great then why do so many people that love the game spend all their time in the forums?

A fan of SWTOR in the SWTOR forums! O M G!

I'm here only if I cant physically play the game, my dear Emeda-the-paying-subscriber.
Remind us why you pay the subs?!

As for your signature, I have the answer you're searching for: trolls are trolling.
You're one of them. It's the definition of the word, isnt it?
You're like a group of persons in a concert but who dislike music and you're annoying those who wants to listen.

But only haters are in the forums. It has been proven by all the fanboys.

I here because i gave the game another chance with the merges. I guess it was stupid to think this game would have change any.

I have 7 days left I think.

In 7 days you'll still be here.
In fact, in two months from now you'll still be here, posting the same things about the terrible game Bioware made, which is dead, or almost, without endgame, with bad graphics and bugs,
and for some odd reasons, you'll still pay the subs.
