I think eventually everyone gets a companion that could essentially use just about anything you can pick up. So with this thinking then everyone just needs everything. To me that is just wrong. I suppose if your companion is actually being used during the flashpoint and they can use the item then ok need it. Otherwise if your not using your companion atm it is just greed. I can tell you if someone rolls need for a companion that is not being used in the flashpoint I will drop group right then and there.
