New Community Team Memory Lane

It just struck me, what ever happened to the new community team? So I went back to the thread and found a great quote:

That was on the 31st of May; so I suppose it is unrealistic to have expected the goal of bringing the community, com team, and devs closer together - but am I the only one feeling that communication has actually gotten worse and less common as a result?

Did a search of Joveth's posts lately, and most of them are to advise of servers up/down, CS down, "we are aware of this issue and are actively working"...

I suppose it was foolish to expect the interaction on anything more than a basic level to last. I'm getting the feeling that most of us who are left are in the process of trying to figure out whether we should stick with the game for a few more months, or just give up on the evidence of the last few patches. So a little interaction, and making us feel like Bioware Austin ain't just a Potemkin-ville, would be nice around now (for me, at least).

Id drown puppies, kittens, and bunnies with a big smile on my face if it meant id get into the games industry ... not for EA though, id rather work at a Taco Bell for the rest of my life.

Hi folks, that goal is still very much in place. However, there have been recent changes to our team that have affected these initial plans that I laid out back in May, making them a bit more difficult to accomplish. I will have more to say about our future plans shortly, though. I appreciate your patience and know that good changes are still coming down the pipeline in regards to communication.

The lack of transparency and communication from Bioware is the only thing that bothers me about this game. One of the main reasons why this community is so bad is because we're left to speculate about every unsubstantiated opinion or rumor that comes along, and all we come up with are conspiracy theories and worst case scenarios.

I don't give a **** about the F2P rumors, or the current subscriber numbers, or any of the terrible "issues" some people think this game has, I'd just like to what's going on with this game I'm paying for. What's coming up, what's being worked on, what issues are they facing, how are they dealing with them. Stuff like that.

Surely better communication is what is required not a plan for better communication coming shortly.
