Oh come on Joveth...good changes coming?! Don't PLAN it, DO IT! Your communication is terrible!!!! A flat out "F"...we've been told it would improve before, why is this time any different?
All warfare is based on deception If his forces are united, separate them If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near A leader leads by example not by force

They don't want to tell us stuff and then have to change it because they learned from Blizzard's mistakes, players will cry "BUT YOU PROMISED!" I get that, I do.

But really, they are getting to the point with the secrecy that it kinda makes me feel like they think we are a bunch of children. I think most of us are mature enough to handle a "rough schedule" or giving us some info with the tag "subject to change".
Unsubscribed due to no new Operations.
I am happy that there will be a renewed focus on story, I love story, its why I picked this MMO. But I picked an MMO, not an episodic single player RPG that I have to pay a subscription to receive the episodes.

Is this your way of saying:

1) We were forced to silence ahead of the quarterly earnings call today
2) We've had half of our team laid off so its tougher to do
3) Those still here, even community managers, are coding the game too so yeah, we're busy

My bet is heavy on option 1, and some of option 2. Today I think will answer a lot of questions.

btw Joveth thanks for responding. It was very concerning that you all had become very quiet after the layoffs.

^^^This.

Seriously, folks. Corporate communications always drop off in the weeks leading up to any US SEC-regulated event.

"Big changes coming down the pipline."
"Good stuff headed your way soon."
"Hang in there, we have more in store for you."
"Soon."
"Sooner than you think."
"Very soon."

Sound familiar? It should. It seems to be the answer to EVERYTHING around here. No matter if it's features, content, or even communication about the future, the answer seems to be the same time and time again.

"Coming soon"

I probably wouldn't be so distressed about it, except having been a previous customer of Cryptic Studios (Star Trek Online) I'm more than familiar with these tactics, and the last time Cryptic went down the "Coming Soon" road, it led to the aptly titled "Year of Fail" where nothing was delivered content-wise for a year, because secretly Cryptic was being bought by the Chinese and converting STO to F2P.

Lack of communication, as well as delaying tactics by the community reps and devs, can't be good news for SWTOR.

Look, we got four or five of the main characters on this ship. I think we're gonna be okay.

i also feel the communication SUCKS. its been dead the last 3-4 weeks around here. a hk-51 trailer? ok we already knew that's coming. but try and get us excited, tease us whatever. its gets us thinking and speculating at least.

My thoughts exactly. Im sorry you guys have to work under EA. Im sure you lost a lot of good co workers over the last month or so, and who knows what other non sense theyre putting the Austin team through.

Id drown puppies, kittens, and bunnies with a big smile on my face if it meant id get into the games industry ... not for EA though, id rather work at a Taco Bell for the rest of my life.

Just keep waiting, and waiting. The post can be summed up as "well we still think we want to do that, but haven't really decided yet. Why does posting on a forum require months of planning or round table meetings? Either you are going to do it or you aren't. Apparently, two months hasn't been quite long enough to figure out how to talk to people..............
