Hello Ssfbistimg,

Sincere apologies for the mix-up here, somehow extra dashes have appeared in my text, happy fingers maybe? Thank you for pointing this out, I've now corrected the other posts on this, please find the correct command below which you should be able to successfully copy and paste.
netstat -n -p tcp -b | more
If you do need assistance with anything else please do let us know.

Thanks.

I am trying to do the pathing and I keep getting a message that says " requested operation requires elevation" What do I do now? You guys have go to get this lagging issue fixed or I am gonna have to play something else. This is sad.
I also can't even open the file to post it here. It says Windows cannot open file.

Sure would be nice to not have to jump through so many hoops for a game I pay to play. If it was free or something like that maybe I could deal with it. What is the point of paying for things we so often we are told to try and do bandaid fixes on our side because your side is so busted? If I bought something or paid for just about any other service and it wasn't what it should be or didn't work on its own there would be a breach of contract it would be returned or on them to fix it. Yet time and time again it is dumped on the players to take care of fixing this broken server.

How it is continueing much less getting worse is insanely frustrating and confusing.

Hello everyone,

We really do appreciate the assistance provided in obtaining this information, as has been previously stated, we are aware of the lag issues that are being experienced and are investigating this from all angles in order to resolve this as rapidly as possible.

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding.

Hello GetShorty,

In the event that you are receiving this message please run the CMD prompt by doing the following:
  1. Open the Windows Start Menu
  2. Type ‘cmd’ in the ‘Search programs and files’ field.
  3. A black icon will appear called "cmd", please right click this and then click "Run as administrator"
You should then be able to follow the instructions to obtain your path ping information as per the instructions earlier in the thread.

If you require any further assistance please let us know.

This has been going on for months. I have periods of bad lag, and periods of no lag. Nothing changes on my machine. I can understand ShallowHal's reluctance to give all the info BW wants. I've sent my info at least 10 times and nothing has improved. In fact, things have actually gotten worse. Since BW will only ask for info and do nothing else, I think ShallowHal, myself, and probably many, many others, are just simply fed up with the canned answers from BW. Why go to all the trouble of producing DXDiag reports and whatnot if nothing ever happens? I don't send reports anymore, but I do read these threads hoping that someday BW will actually look at their delivery system from top to bottom and figure out what is going on. I feel that BW is being complacent. There HAS to be a problem since so many folks have reported these same troubles. I really don't understand why BW won't look at their own equipment. Granted... not all of the servers are in the same physical location, but somebody has to be manning the switch, so to speak, at each of these server farms. Nonetheless, I still feel BW is the problem. I always play on a "light" server from the east coast. Axial Park never seems to be overloaded, but yet I experience lag that is bad enough to make me want to cry. I used to play on Perlemian Route, which is a west coast server, but the lag was even worse, and I LIVE on the west coast! I'm guessing, and I could be wrong, that it is something very simple, like packet size. If a packet is too big, the left over portion will be resent without filling up the full packet. This will cause lag. Or... it could be BW's provider. In doing a tracert, I always get higher numbers from above.net than any other hop in the chain. Talking to above.net doesn't buy you anything either because you're (we're) not their customer and they couldn't give a hoot if anyone is having a problem with them. Now... if BW were to complain to above.net, then something might actually happen.

I'd like to know if the droids at BW actually play the game at their homes, just like the rest of the paying public does, and if so, are they experiencing any lag? Playing from work doesn't count because there is likely extremely high bandwidth in the office and if there were any problems, you bet your *** it would get fixed pronto!

I feel a little better now, but that won't last. As soon as I fire up the game, it will all start over again. The last thing I want to say is that when I log off after 8+ hrs of playing, my eyes need a little time to settle down because they've gotten so used to the jerky game play. If I try to read, I wind up reading the same paragraph over and over for a few minutes until my eyes retrain on NON-MOVING objects. That's how bad this frigging lag can be. Do ya' hear me BW?

Since the patch this past Tuesday I've been losing connection to the server. Near the end of a warzone my connection icon next to the minimap will turn red and then a red x will appear. This usually results in a disconnect. Many times while playing it will drop to one red bar and my toon will run into an invisible wall. Nothing else on my computer or network is affected by this drop. Teamspeak is not affected at all.

Here is my dxdiag:

Never experienced these problems before this last patch. But this last week has been terrible.

Let me know if you need anything else from me.

From Soy:

"Since the patch this past Tuesday I've been losing connection to the server. Near the end of a warzone my connection icon next to the minimap will turn red and then a red x will appear. This usually results in a disconnect. Many times while playing it will drop to one red bar and my toon will run into an invisible wall. Nothing else on my computer or network is affected by this drop. "

Yes, had a good 2-3 months no red X, and no "9000", since last patch, several a day.

Repair doesn't work.

Fixlauncher doesn't work.

Resetting modem and router doesn't work.

Yep. Something happened last patch. Don't know what it is, but I've cleared caches, deleted files, repaired, forwarded ports, etc. Nothing helps. But I can definitely pinpoint that it started a week ago after the patch.
