Um they didnt put anything in because of the guild summit. All that stuff was already in the works. Anything that wasnt already planned and asked about was quickly shunned away.

I think the famous quote of the guild summit would be "Theres no timetable on that"

What I see is a promo video that is no different than any other MMO's promo video. Videos that feature eye candy the released product won't get. I see the nature of the beast. At least the launcher wasn't crashing like WoW's did for 11 months.
Hate to burst your bubble but alot of people did and still do have launcher problems.

1.2 was already in the works when the guild summit was happening, none of that was a result of the Guild Summit.
Date Joined: March 2009 - Date unsubbed: 9/18/2012
It's been real but the game just wasn't worth the sub for me anymore.

I recall a very funny question and answer...

Are we going to get a ready check for groups?

Theres no ready check in game? Thats news to me.

Look.... still no ready check.
Actually yea, . Haha, ready check. Meh, whatevs guys. I'm just not sure what anybody wants at this point. I used the Summit as a point to show that while Bioware has truly messed stuff up (hence why I bounced for so long) it's not so bad and they DID try their best to reach out. Unfortunately, they're constantly dealing with unfit dullards every which way they turn that won't appreciate anything and will point out things like, 'Ready Check,' as reasons to why they've failed the community. I think it's time for another hiatus. Maybe one day I'll be able to come back here and it might be at the WoW level of community..and that community is awful.

Well not with the MMO that will be released next month.

I think you take things too literally man. I just used ready check as an example of the hundreds of things that dont happen in the game. 1 thing , like ready check, here are there are not a big issue. If you compound all those little 1 things into a pile then you have a huge mess.

This community isnt aweful, for the most part, its full of a bunch of passionate people that want to see the game succeed... and im truely sorry but the way this game is handled, it is not going to succeed. I dont care if people want to ignore it and pretend its not happening but this game IS going downhill. I dont care if people are happy to see their server is full of 1,000 people. 20 servers with 1000 people dont pay the bills.

I don't and I play on a pos Dell XPS. My wife doesn't and she plays on a killer next-gen rig. No one in our guild does, and that includes one who plays on a Mac using BootCanp. A lot is subjective.
Can we please just have our pre-KotFE SWTOR MMORPG back?

Unfit dullards are people who eat up everything they're told and believe it, and don't question things when they turn out not to be true.

But that's besides the point. The point of this thread was to ask if Bioware really intended what they had originally promised, or whether or not they just realized somewhere in the development process that engine limitations, for example, prevented them from making the "epic boss battles, massive pvp" that they intended.

Then by all means, please feel free to be there instead of here. No need to set the house on fire before leaving though.

1.3 and 1.4 have also been in the works since the guild summit. Well the original 1.3 was in the works. The 1.3 we got wasn't the whole LFG and server transfers where added latter and the real 1.3 got pushed back to 1.4
