The so called virus the OP is talking about is the "false positive" virus warning that a lot of the major AV apps were reporting with the 1.3 code. Another reason the OP fails here is because they were told about this when it was on test then it went live and still existed. Their simple answer was that customers should contact their AV vendor.

No. It's their code, they should be releasing or reporting the issue to the major vendors themselves. Not asking the customer to do it. A customer asking their AV company to remove the false positive would get ignored. It coming from EA/Bioware means the AV companies will listen and remove the signature causing the false positive.

People have a right to moan as they pay for the game as much as the OP.

The OP is clueless if he thinks the game is going F2P just because of people moaning. The investors will decide if it goes F2P or not.

It shouldn't go F2P it should go B2P, much more profitable, people are willing to buy a game but not pay extra money afterwards.

How can something you program that's fresh off the boat be corrupted with a virus? That is the biggest joke I've ever heard

Patch 1.3 didn't have a virus. It had a bug. Bugs are mistakes made by programes, so it's biowares fault. They keep making mistakes over and over and keep fixing them at our expense without reinbusing us for lost time. Nothing to be gratefull for.

Careful with your wording there.

There is (probably) maintenance, just no downtime with it.

I suspect that is what you meant, but isn't what you wrote.
