What I take issue with is this "Demand" attitude. Do people think that making a demand should be listened to more then a request or suggestion? If that is the case, what if someone "demands" that there be NO MORE TRANSFERS ALLOWED. Should they be listened to as much as someone that makes the opposite "demand". People, there is a Suggestion Box forum above these Discussion Forums for ASKING and REQUESTING what you would like to see. Please don't DEMAND things as if doing so automatically entitles you to having it done.

A request or suggestion is something that a person would "like to see" but not something they find passionate. A demand is something that a person feels strongly about to be implemented in game and can be support by logic, reason and data if applicable.

If you eat out that much then you should probably go to the market, buy a cook book, and learn to cook some stuff. Eating healthy is never a bad thing. And im not sure where you live nor do i care, but where i live, that kind of stuff doesn't happen really because no one where i live honestly feels that bad about their lives to spit in someone elses food, more of a self esteem issue it would present. But im sorry you experience that kind of service, best of luck.

I DEMAND that they stop listening to gamers who are only seeking to feed their entitlement.

There are plenty of things that are worthy of your "demand" definition. Some bugs warrant demanded fixes. Some performance issues demand improvements. Some community services demand development to address problems or opportunities.

This, however... not so much.

Basically, you're whining that you really want the shiny new toy, and despite knowing how to get it and despite that process being playing the game, you are demanding that they give you an easier route. That is, in the end, what this is all about. You feel that having HK is an imperative, and anyone who increases the amount of work between you and that goal is harming you.

Wake up. It's a free perk in the game, that you get for playing the game. You were not guaranteed to have it. You were not promised to have it. No one is preventing you from getting it. You already know the process to accomplish your goal, but you are choosing not to do it.

I'm not unsympathetic, and I think that paid transfers are a good idea. But Bioware shouldn't take your selfish demands as more important than fixing bugs or performance issues, or creating new services which serve the majority of the community.

Paid transfers will come. If you're not going to re-roll, you'll just have to wait. If the thought that some people might have HK while you wait causes some injury to your soul, then it might be a good time to step away from the computer and re-examine what you value in life.

paid?

You're joking right? BW should be bending over backwards to keep subs, not charging people to transfer toons. I wouldn't pay to xfer a toon, no way.

Look, Xfering a character today isn't like transferring a character in eq a dozen years ago when a human being had to get involved(hence the fee). In 2012 this is automated and should be free.

Seems like you have a Win/Win here. Bioware is losing subscriptions and revenue is down. With paid transfers you make subscribers happy as they get a desired option = Win. Bioware gets increased revenue = Win. I don't see a downside to this idea, just happier subscribers and more revenue.

While I agree that the OP shouldn't be "demanding" I believe that he does have a point.
BW want us to carry on playing. They want us to play the game to its strengths - the storylines. They realise a lot of quality playtime can be ecked out by encouraging us to re-roll the opposing faction (for the players like me that so far haven't). So the shiny new toy is shall be the reward for doing so. The OP however has already completed an opposing faction storyline so he feels he is being forced to grind.
Also to consider is that people kept their opposing faction toons on different servers back in the early days. Made sense if you believed you were going to play for a long time. 8 slots = 8 AC's/faction. Spoils open world PvP when people can change sides.

As for me this HK-51 character is a bit of a "who?". I'm guessing its a KOTOR thing. I mean to say, there isn't even a lego minifig!!!!. If it was IG-88, now we're talking.
