James says Makeb will be the largest content ever added to a MMO for free outside of a Expansion.
I take what they say about largest this and that with a grain of salt. They also said they have the most released content updates, for a newly launched MMO, that is false. They say alot of things that are false. I think they have actually taken out more content then they have introduced.

can you name a MMO that released more content after launch? I can't. Rift is close but it falls short.

Point being Makeb and the level cap increase are going to be free.

no it didn't cost $200 million plus to make it was somewhere under 200 mill and they already said they made that money back.

if anything a game like SWTOR has MORE of a reason to keep going as they spent so much money on it they need to squeeze it for every penny.

That's because Ultima Online was awesome and mmorpgs should have followed their model and not the EQ model.

Rift is killing this game in updates sorry. Every update Rift had came with a world event and content with features... not just one or the other and no event at all.

Believe what you want but it was atleast 200 million... not many people disagree with that... and there is no way they could have made that money back. Its just not possible if you do the basic math.... and no they didnt say they did.

The problem with squeezing it for every penny is that it still costs money to do so.

How can you believe anything they say?

In the first linked video he states that they were able to do the level cap increase while not making the current endgame content obsoliete. They also have mentioned after this videos date that they still havent set a level cap increase yet.

How can they not know a level cap increase yet but be positive it wount make the current endgame obsolete? More lies just to make it sound like its good.

Also listen to about 4:20 with server trasnfers. The guy asked if they could pick and chose the server they wanted to goto and he say there will be some servers(acting like he is going to answer the question with to choose from) then he just stops. More false information.

Also 5:05 about cross server and mega servers. He says that that isto give the players the feel of haing more players and not that they had any intention of doing it but mentioned them so people would think they happened.

where does he say its free?

At about 5:45 the othe guy says other games have given out big things for free and semi free and no where does he say that maceb will be free on even implys it.
If this game is so great then why do so many people that love the game spend all their time in the forums?

Because LA the actual guys who own this IP will kill this game if it doesn't even hold enough water that swg did on life support and they at least could have gone free to play a long time ago. Instead LA wanted this game to succeed so they killed it.

Don't know how you figure that one out.

EA have no problems giving the chop to MMO's it doesn't think are working.

E&B anyone.

I fully expect Swtor to be next on the list, prolly early next year.
