Why do people hate this game?

Locusts, moving from game to game, they thrive on problems and malcontent. It's getting tiresome but don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with constructive criticism, but we're not seeing much of that.

The people who are posting hate on the forums are only a small minority of the subscriber base. The people who enjoy it are too busy playing the game.

Besides, most of the haters are probably people stuck at there office jobs and trolling because there bored.

True, if they enjoy comming here only to hate they can´t have gone far in the real world

I am pretty sure there are more players who left the game then playing it. So they are a subgroup of the majority who thinks this game ain't good enough.

Yep theres alot of those bash threads... but then again your doing nothing better in bashing those threads... you in writing this are potentially causing trouble.. you like the game, we get it!!.. not everyone has to bow down before you and agree to like it.. so in argument I dont understand all these "the games awesome", "if you dont like it then your a noob to MMO's" etc etc... for every action there is always a reaction....

You continually seem to want to seek reassurance from the forums as to who and why players like SWTOR or hate SWTOR... why?

If its bothering you then dont post and go play.

I personally tolerate the game because it isn't just hack and slash in a DnD environment (and I was born and breed in that genre).. its space and sabres hack and slash... but the game and the decisions made around it have really dwindled my enthusiasm.. and the game performance compared to many other lower budget MMO's is simply appauling across a wide ranging players hardware.
I can wait for content, I never rush through it, but standard features and a stable platform to enjoy the game...hmmm thats irratating in SWTOR.....but I tolerate it.. for now!

The story telling is OK but when all you have is story telling that ends then you have nothing to keep everyone playing.

This is suppost to be an MMO. MMO's should have something for everyone to do no matter what the time of day.
There are no minigames, there is no real crafting,there is no exploring,there are no rare mobs (world bosses do not count, I mean rare gold mobs that can be posible soloed that have rare loot.

There is no reason to kill gold mobs since they dont drop better loot than weak mobs.

There is no special gear, everyone knows where to get the best gear and its all in the same places.

The only thing to do in this game at 50 is Battlegrounds,dailies and Operations/FP. That isnt much to do for an MMO.

Yes you can level up an alt to see another story line but sooner or later your going to have done all the story lines and then what?

A MMO isnt about leveling alts, its suppost to be about having a character that you play all the time. Thats where Bioware has failed. They made this game for people to level up 8 characters and forgot about having stuff for players to do at level 50.

Most of the haters could be playing hello kitty. Its probable harder than this game.

All we need to say is that there are more people who quit this game than there are still playing it. Most fanboiz will deny it but there are maybe 250k players still playing at the most. Thats out of over 2 million. So if 85-90% of the people are haters then maybe the game actually is bad instead of them just hating to hate.

As much as it might feel like it at times, I dont think the subs have got to that level just yet, if going by what numbers are being seen at peak times on most of the destination servers and the extra number of instances being created... meaning concurrent users is likely higher than 250k but who really knows i guess.
Not sure where you got the 2million from either cos the highest number I remember being reported was 1.7mill after the initial box sales / 30day inclusive again tho I am likely wrong. I dont think 85-90% of the pop are haters.. sure some tried it and it didnt suit them but just becausse a forum minority posts alot of noise (and I have been guilty there as well), doesnt speak for that proportion of the player base, heck only a mere smidge of the player base actually comes to the forums, let alone post on them.

This thread has become a breeding ground for hate on both sides with the 'fanboys' unwilling to hear the other side. All you do is make fun of people who have complaints about swtor. If they didn't like it than why are they here complaining about it? It's because they care enough to complain. Or they just want their disappoint known. Your opinions are no more valid than theirs. The 'fanboy's' are the most hateful group I've seen and you are doing Bioware and this game a disservice. Please let this thread die as it is not in the least constructive.
