Double my numbers if there are really about 2,700 online per server at primetime. Hopefully you're right. I haven't counted lately.

Why would that be a shame for me? I want the game to keep going, to improve, and to get bigger. I want to be wrong on this count!

The origin servers are all but dead. They fall within the margin of error. If destination servers really are hitting 3.5k primetime and that's 10% instead of 20%, active subscribers could be as high as maybe 900,000.

That would be nice!

Hahahaha ummm okayyyy.... I love it you got me there..

Whilst the game feels a bit busier cos players have been hived into a dozen or so servers rather than being strung out across 200+ servers... I wont hold my breath on it seeing any kind of uphill in its subs.... where are you getting this idea from.
If this were the case I am pretty sure EAWare would of plastered that across every gaming forum, media outlet and newp[aper stand across the globe rather than falling silent pretty much since the last round of figures at its end of year.... no I will hedge on the side of no news is bad news, but just how bad I will wait patiently to find out... but I am expecting a sizeable drop in subs.. theey could only fuge the figures for so long until peoples free 30 days, free trials and bonus weeks came to an end...
But one thing is certain - It will all come out in the wash.
The Chaotic Misfits Guild.
Death or Glory - It's all just a game to me!

The OP has no sources to support what are quite frankly damaging allegations. I personally think that is irresponsible to the future of the game.

I think it is worth noting at 49 minutes into the video they joke about avoiding the official forums because of the "trash" found there (I am quoting the source, they say "trash")

I'm not sure why the OP would type what he has typed

Seriously. OP is trying to stir the pot and start something and you know what? It's disgusting.

This, just because (they made) it look like everything's well, doesn't mean things actually are.

But on the other hand we can't take everything those guys say as 100% rock solid info, there is allot of speculation going on as well.

My question is why does EA/Bioware allow these rumors and speculation threads to grow in the forums, where is thier damage control putting out fires and telling us not to pay these threads any mind. I remember the days of SOE when Thunderheart used to come in and tell us this is all specualtion not happening and close the threads.

Seems like letting the threads linger in the forums, validates allot of the information in some folks minds, they slowly become truth to allot of people. /shrug just a thought...
My thoughts exactly, that's what I've been trying to say forever, but never found the right words.

Just like Bioware did not want to call the server mergers what they were mergers, instead they called them transfers.

Then low and behold few weeks later if that they announced you get free BH commendations to transfer to try to force players off the dead servers before they have to close them to save money.

Well a Spade is Spade.

Bioware Transfers means to other MMO=Mergers only they did not want to use that word cause of more Bad PR.

Same with last 2 rounds of Lay-Offs and High End People fired and leaving the company , they thought if they staggered it during the slow MMO monthes of Summer they not have all the Blowback and Bad PR.

That did not work.

Are you all seeing Pattern here?

Their waiting to Long and Lack of Leadership, cause alot of the Leaders the Vision is killing them, if they did mergers many monthes earlyier and shipped with 1.2 most the features as promised in the closed betas, this game even in the summer would have alot more subs atm.

You know, I've never quite understood threads like these when it comes to sub numbers. If the numbers are high people scream "OMG! EA must have fudged the numbers somehow, quick everyone go unsub so we can drive them down to what they should be!" and if they are lower than expected its "OMG! The games getting shut down tomorrow! Everyone go unsub! Sinking ship!". It seems like people won't be happy until the games shut down, and even then there will still be complaining "OMG! EA are evil, they shut the game down too early!".

They opened too many servers. That is an established fact and was a mistake the BW made.

However 220 servers (as they have increased the capacity on the destination servers) would now be capable of holding 800k concurrent players, that is over half the number of subs they had at the last call. In fact those 220 servers could now support more players then they have actually sold boxes when you look at actual distributions of how much people play.

They opened too many servers so most were standard/light, they reduced the number of servers while increasing capacity and these are now Heavy/Very Heavy. Nothing in those statements leads to a 90% drop in players.

That's...extremely unlikely...Whatever the numbers were, they've been going down and the reason for that is the game, and Bioware, not because we're all trying to boycot EA.

Also, the only reason I can think of why Bioware isn't saying anything is because they want to take as much as sub-funds before they break the news to us. It's still EA lol.
