The next subscriber numbers will be reported in the next couple days and will still contain the 6 month subscriptions purchased during early access and shortly after release. Those don't start expiring until 15 August.

But that doesn't mean those people PLAY, and it doesn't mean they will re-subscribe when their next renewal comes due.

That has been a known issue ever since last month at least.

You are seeing the result of a whole lot of people taking your very faulty advice. They had over 240 servers, most of which were STANDARD or better, many of which were HEAVY to FULL, within weeks of release. By the end of summer, they will have 26 servers, many of which will be STANDARD.

They did not increase server capacity 10-fold. Or even 3-fold. Or really... at all.

So, yah, keep inviting people to leave and keep hoping BioWare ignores what people are telling them they need to fix to keep them as subscribers. You might be down to a single-player RPG within a few months if you get those wishes granted.

How can you have no Studio Head, Head of Pvp, or no Game Director.
Someone has to run the forums or look at balance...I'm sure.
The positions and responsibilities are either outsourced to one of EA's offices in China, or added to a remaining employee's duties. EA did the same thing to Mythic after WAR crashed.

We've just had a major patch?

When?

So you're unsubbing based on what? Complete speculation with only a handful of loose facts behind them? WoW.... people will buy into anything these days.

You don't have much faith in the human condition. You actually think, by this random guy telling some other random guy to go play something else, he's causing 240 servers to decrease to 26?

Some random guy telling me to do something doesn't make me want to do it. In fact, quite the opposite.

He's trying to make a point. The point is, if you like it, stay and contribute. If you don't like it, go find something you like and contribute. No need to blow it up into something it's not.

Even if subs are down to 350,000, think about this:

If 350,000 people pay $15, that equals $5,250,000 each month, or $63 million a year.

Even if a portion of that goes to Lucasarts for the IP, and some to EA, theres not a company in the world who would sneeze at that. Profit is profit, and so long as there is still profit, the game isn't going amywhere.

Plus they've already made back the cost of the game.....so no one has actually lost money....

if they Fudge the numbers and count the free trials below level 15 not even then.

But this is EA were talking about.

This is the Same EA-Bioware that the 2 Bioware formerly Legendary Doctors and Co-founders and roleplaying dnd gods that we all trusted that told us in the closed betas, dont worry game wont launch till we allow it to, we are in charge.

They in closed beta constantley told us that above and they said Hey, dont worry we have guild banks in for launch, GTN search working, Looking for group tool, Legacy in,Custom UI tool, basically almost all 1.2 patch was promissed at launch day 1 of the headstart.

These are the same 2 guys the doctors and Bioware, founders and Gods, we trusted their word, and they even for launch and more Hype got matching Fake star wars few day long Tattos, that are now , no where to be found.

So really trust them to do investor calls ?

I ask you this 800k? they might claim they have that much, but again you trust them?

What does the facts show you?

Hmm we had 100+ us servers at launch we are now down to 11 that is almost 90 percent drop.

Hmm we had 100+ euro servers we are done to under 10 now that is 90 percent and some drop of players.

Asian servers are the even worse done to 7.

same for the rest you kidding right?

Dont even say the servers are now useing super server tech, cause even when they talked about that, that would take alot more money and tech know how and time to set up and down times, that has not happend yet.
