There are still over 200 people at Bioware Austin, people are pulling numbers out of a hat in their haste to bury this game.

But that's the thing, why would EA, who have constant sub numbers, pay for a cinematic trailer (which are expensive to make) for content they plan to scrap a week later? No, what's irrational is the claim that the game dropped 900k subs in about 4 months without any real basis other than current server pops.

I am going to have a nice laugh at the OP's expense when EA releases the next subscriber numbers. It would be more believable if you had gone with like 800k.
Unsubscribed due to no new Operations.
I am happy that there will be a renewed focus on story, I love story, its why I picked this MMO. But I picked an MMO, not an episodic single player RPG that I have to pay a subscription to receive the episodes.

The game has actually gone uphill since transfers and mergers. Not sure what you're talking about.

Uhuh. 'Us folks' apparently was 1.1 million people.
Not afraid to voice my opinion here, but that doesn't mean I have to take this condescending tone from you./ignore

I don't know man, and don't get me wrong, I want this game to succeed, but look at the bad stuff we've heard and compare it to the good stuff. I'm just looking from a consumer's perspective. If only BW/EA shed some light on this. Positively.

How many people are logged into YOUR server at prime time? Multiply that number by 5 (~20% has been reported as the percentage of subscribers online in an MMO during prime-time). Then multiply that number by 26 (the number of servers).

That's your approximate subscriber count. I bet it's going to come up near 350,000.

It could be off by 20% so call it 280,000-420,000. It's simply not feasible for it to be a million or anything close to it.

Also I submitted the headgear causing head of certain companions' head to disappear bug just last thursday, and I am very impressed that they already fixed it in this patch. Seems to me their team is still plenty big to handle things in a very timely manner.
