Are you talking about concealment ops/scound or healer? Cause I'm not really sure if the healer needs any looking at except for maybe the insta heal at 30%...

Though I agree that they do need some sort of buff, imagine the rage and hate BW will receive if they buff them back to the way they were pre 1.2. You have to admit they were 100x worse then mara/sent ever were.

Yeah, the problem with designing a class that has a playstyle of extremes is that you're either going to be really good in some situations and seem OP or be really bad and seem like you need a buff. SWTOR has two of these classes; Deception Assassins and Concealment Ops and BW had openly said that they are designed to have a playstyle of situational extremes.

In my opinion that's fine if they want to do that, however they need to implement a way of controlling when these extremes take place either by player choice or opponent counter reaction. Having them simply happen based on random dice rolls takes out the element of action and reaction that makes the class less fun to play and impossible to counter; based on the die roll you're either going to get opened up hard and not be able to recover to win the fight, or he's not going to open up hard at all and the fight will be an effortless joke. Currently, not even the Op can tell when this going to happen.

My guess? Snipers/Slingers and Juggs/Guardians. The Juggs/Guardians aren't getting the attention right now because everybody is still focused on Maras/Sents. Give it a couple more weeks. The forums will start flooding with the "Nerf juggs/Guardians" posts.

They can be easily LOS'd but as one guy on the front page of this thread said, casuals dont have the time of day to figure out how some classes work.. so.. :-\

Once marauders get nerfed, they will Q_Q saying how a sniper is able to:

bring them down 1v1 from 100 to 40% hp without them being able to do anything at all.

I play a Sniper and Juggernaut in PVP and i know how hard it is, almost impossible to catch up to a good sniper as a sith warrior 1v1. Im a jugg and i have more CCs than a maurader and i know once that sniper hits entrench, is targetting me, and im nowhere near 5m away from him. i just jump down or run away. its the wise thing to do. you dont have to fight him head on.

On my Sniper i see marauders / juggernauts who try to engage me (im on cover) they are 20m away, they are running towards me and i have entrench down.. and they still try to engage me. Not a good idea.. It's just a L2P issue really at this point. -___- If i was the Jugg, i'd do what i did above and waste that sniper's entrench (45 sec cd speccd) OR just tab target to a nearby enemy sorc/sage healer...

Let me do the honors of making that nerf Sniper thread for ya

So i am in the OPEN AREA of novare coast and i saw this Sniper sitting by himself so funny! so i decided i want to kill him 1v1.

1) Sniper attacks with his big annoying abilties then uses Leg shot ( root ) ----> i use force camo to vanish
2) I run towards sniper and open on melee ----> Sniper uses entrench (immune to cc) and uses debilitate stuns me for 4 seconds
3) I trinkets out stun and tries to Fore Choke him but Sniper immune due to entrench ----> Sniper attacks me then uses flashbang, FULL duration i have no trinket by now.
..............
Sniper is running away.....
..................................................
4) Sniper runs away ~20 m , casts Series of Shots -----> i'm still nowhere near Sniper and am taking damage. Probably will use cloak of pain for def cd soon
5) I FINALLY run into Sniper melee range ----> Sniper uses Cover pulse knocks and roots me back, and uses Ambush
6) I Cloak of pains incoming damage after cover pulse, still trying to walk towards Sniper ---->

at this point the Sniper can afford to tank me. (YES a sniper TANKING a lightsaber wielding warrior!!) I'm at around almost half hp. Im bout to die soon

7) Sniper uses Shield probe followed by Evasion ----> I use aoe mezz
8) Sniper trinkets aoe mezz, im bout to die i pop undying rage. Sniper casts Ambush ------> Ambush knocks me back!! and he casts Leg Shot again im rooted again! ( 15 SECOND CD root and not part of resolve = broken imo)
....
........
9) Sniper runs away ~20 m and takes cover again..... And he didnt even use his big aoe shield that gives him 20% dmg reduction....

10) Sniper --------------------> Me (dead)

This is grossly overpowered for a class. With all their CCs and knockbacks BW should seriously address this issue and give us Marauders at least a fighting chance to live and survive against the Snipers.

Please make this thread constructive and give inputs as to how we can put this 1v1 imbalance to a pause so that Marauders (or melee) can fight Snipers in a non 1 sided manner. My suggestions:

1) Give cover pulse a cast time (the one that knocks us back)
2) Give leg shot a cast time (the one that roots in place)
3) Put cover pulse and leg shot on Resolve
4) Make Snipers be affected by Charge / Leap / Pull even while in cover.
5) Give the COVER ability itself, a cast time say 1.5 seconds and make it interuptible.

P.S. Although if the marauder pops Saber Ward (3min cd), it's GG for the sniper.

I noticed A LOT of people complaining about cover and the inability to leap or pull them while in cover.

Almost every class that has a leap or pull has a solution to this (not including knights/jugs that I can think of ATM).

Cloak or stun and pull.

So according to the forums.... The current flavor of the month classes are:

Pyrotechs
Marauders
Op (healers)

The next FOTM classes being nominated are:
Snipers
Juggernauts

The advanced classes remaining are:
Assassins
Sorcerers
Mercenarys

The PvP community has decided that 5 out of the 8 advanced classes have an overpowered or borderline overpowered spec. I don't buy it. I see Assassins, Sorcerers, and Mercenary's doing just fine when they're played well.
