I'd call it "firing people because the game flopped" Let's not mince words here.

Again, in their podcast, they say they would much rather hear criticism that is actually pointing out a major gameplay problems as opposed to "I want all the things ever!" So like half the others on here, just give me content.
Whatever lol, they're not 1st graders for Gods sake. If they TRULY can't handle negative feedback, whoever is so scared of it needs to be replaced until they find someone who understands that it's negative feedback about their PRODUCT, not a personal attack.

Your reply implies that all our feedback is just a mindless rant - which is complete bull! There are plenty of tweaks, updates, requests, suggestions, specifics, etc in EVERY post it seems. If they can't get past that ONE negative person who calls them out harshly, they either need to grow up or change professions. I'm not paying my sub fees to be their inspiration and pretend they have the greatest game on Earth - the decline in subs is so steep that only a complete moron could argue this game is doing well.

If they/you want this game to do better, they need to get off their slow moving rears and kick it in, because they are moving as slow as a heard of turtles stampeding through peanut butter right now, and their 'fear' of talking to us is causing more angst than it should.

I don't know what exactly some of you want Bioware to say to you. We've been given a glimpse of this new droid we're to get, they've given us practically everything we've whined for...the pvp crowd were given their ranks, the rest of us server transfers and for free, they've even offered us gifts to make up for inconvenience.

Personally, I'm getting sick and tired of seeing this attitude of 'what have you done for me lately' and the general negativity towards the game. Has it occured to you people who are making demands and complaining and whining about how the game is dead, and no one is communicating with you, that YOU are the one's ruining the game. This week, I log on Imp side, where I usually play and people are whining about wanting to know more. I get tired of this, and log Rep side to play my noobs, and more of the same--people crying about how the game is dying, its dead, blah blah ad nauseum.

You whiners are the ones killing it. Can you imagine what new people must be thinking? You're driving them away with this crap. I've been playing since launch, and I'm loving the game, and adequately challenged and adequately communicated with. Reading these forums is DEPRESSING, all because of YOU whiners.

I think people need to be a little more patient. You want stuff fast, if they give it fast, it's buggy...then you whine about bugs. So many of you are never satisfied. Let them have the time they need to sort crap, and I'm pretty sure we'll get events, and additions etc.

I mean honestly. *walks away to play some more*

Wait...are you suggesting that it's MY fault they released buggy content? Even when those bugs were reported on the Test Server forums? It's MY fault they move so slow? It's MY fault people quit playing? That "I" drive new players away? That "I" need to be more patient?

What a complete CROCK! I haven't been asking for a freaking HK-51 droid, have you? Has anyone here asked for HK-51? I don't care about the droid, I want some freaking CONTENT, like new Operations. The current 3 take all of 3 hours to run, 2 on nightmare mode, one on story, and because of the brilliant 1980's era 'lockout timer', I get to do that a whole ONE time per week. For PvP, I'm stuck in the same 3 rotating boxes that we've had since launch, and 1 that's so similar to the others, it should have been.

I accept absolutely ZERO responsibility for the condition this game is currently in. If anything, they should be thanking me (us) for sticking around while my last server died.

Bioware has been slapped around a lot the last few years. Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3 now SWTOR. They sell a lot of copies and make lots of money but there's so much negativity pouring out there towards Bioware. The games are fun. They aren't ground-breaking or game-changing like they used to be, Mass Effect 1, Dragon Age Origins, Neverwinter NIghts, Knights of the Old Republic: those games were epic. But they started to dumb things down in the sequels. Not sure if that was a Bioware shift or an EA shift but when they left Neverwinter Nights to dust and tried to jam everything into a dumbed down console shooter they kinda lost their sparkle quite a bit.

What do you want them to say?

"hey guys hope your enjoying the best game in the entire world, soon you will get even more stuff to grind"

"Amazing new features coming one day in the future, very soon. Just keep paying and you will see"

What Bioware needs to do is get a more certain schedule for stuff (a realistic one) and talk about upcoming stuff on the forums, and hopefully use player ideas a bit (or a lot) more in development. Whatever they're developing now, they could use creative player suggestions, even if it's something that won't happen until an expansion or something.

Have the devs answer more questions and, you know, actually answer questions in the Q&A. Seriously, it seems like whenever I read the Q&As nothing is actually ever said to us. I didn't see this so much with Georg (who I think was previously doing Q&As), but with the new guy we're not getting anything even close to interesting or useful answers that the playerbase wants and needs.

Edit: Seriously. Listen to the players and what they say. Design armor based off of player suggestions (or even better, design armor like what we saw in the 'holonet' class section previews!), actually pay attention to what we're doing and asking for, give 'solo' players more stuff to do!

I mean, don't get me wrong, I like the game -- I just wish it had more than operations and PvP once you get to endgame (dailies do not count as content! though they gave me Tionese-level mods so at least they're useful for gear). Not necessarily sandboxy stuff, just stuff that isn't designed to be a major grind but still requires a certain amount of skill.

(So something competitive, fun and relatively casual. Wait... I think we call these mini-games! *gasp*)

They can't. Anything they say or do will be used against them if a developer comments on the boards. See they hired these Customer service people to act as flame shields. But can you blame them? They only lied about almost everything they ever promised and there is no way they are going to make more promises players can quote against them after the recent fiasco's.
