castlevania dracula x: several different versions were made exclusively for the pc,and you can find emulators everywhere,so id say, better and older than balders gate

and against half life i submit this one: deus ex,invisible war....the story is alot more epic and open ended,,,plus led to the one thing we actually agree on and that one of the ending of it is in my signature

deus ex,human revolution: no words, best game ever

but yeah you made some good choices yourself,i only ever got to play half life 2 though (not the same as the first one but similar)

then there is of course something im sure we all remember from the 1990`s,and yes you can get it on the pc....

007 goldeneye

then Zelda: Oot (ocarina of time),played that one when i was a little girl

and of course, many duke nukem games...gotta admire that guy, erm,in more ways than one *looks left and right real quick*
None of those are RPGs...with the exception of Zelda and Deus Ex...and Deus Ex is more of an RPG than Zelda.

The Last Remnant is on Steam, and not to forget Penny Arcade Adventures 1-3. Breath of Death VII, and Cthulhu Saves the World.

and as a added bonus, Warlock: Master of the Arcane (not a RPG, but oh well)
According to BioWare, I lack the imagination to get into the mindset of a species that doesn't have a pretty, human-looking face. I feel inclined to disagree

Deus Ex all of them, Human revolution is abit linare but still well worth the money.
Elder Scrolls Morrowind, Oblivion & Skyrim were just awesome i never finished Skyrim though just don't have enogh playtime.

Dungeon Siege 1 & 2 - Quite entertaining but they don't last that long hack n slash collecting items.

D2 & D3 - Says it all really i had D1 on my old playstation but i never completed it.

Final Fantasy are overrated the only good ones were 7 & 9.

Would have to disagree with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I got it free with my CPU and played it for maybe 6 or 7 hours and was just extremely bored. Sooooo much running around with not enough quests/story/combat/advancement. It was dark and dingy which, whilst moody, wasn't inspiring or intersting.

As to good RPGs:

Final Fantasy 7 (best ever RPG imo) is being released on PC soon Link

Morrowind is my favourite eldar scrolls (Oblivion was OK, Skyrim pretty rubbish). Spent so many hours in morrowind collecting all the armour sets to put on mannequins in my house lol.

Freelancer is also epic. I don't really like space games in general but Freelancer was just brilliant. Simple enough to be playable but complex and big enough to keep you playing for weeks.

I'm sure there are others but tbh I like to play my single player RPGs on consoles
Anstalt - lvl 50 valor 81 Shadow Consular

Currently retired due to poor design decisions within the game that have killed its longevity. Get rid of Hickman before he ruins the game completely!

I still have fond memories of Baldur's Gate 1+2, Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights 1 (plus all those add-ons). I heard they'll release some kind of graphically improved version of Baldur's Gate. If this is true, I'm really looking forward to it.

Without Space Rogue there could have been no Freelancer!
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?
