As some one already pointed out everyone of those updates was new content, and some of them had additional segments with more content. I was on one of the serves Trion shutdown after launch and you know how they handled it. I got a note saying my shard was going to be a beginner shard and that I should move my characters to one of the remaining regular shards. I was able to pick any shard, and my guild was moved with me, no fuss no muss, some people lost names much like happened here but it felt like we were a. informed and be given a choice. What did BW do, they placed me and my guild on Vonsker, I was in a Aussie guild so when the new oceanic servers came out my Aussie and kiwi friends were allowed to move. The us players in our guild were not, so now I have a legacy I worked hard on, a lvl 50, a bunch of 30's and 40's and I am stuck on a dead server I did not choose. My reward, BW will let me move to Harbinger, sadly my guild is on Dalborra where they were raiding. So until August when my sub is up (I was an idiot and pre-paid for a game I love run by a company I now despise) I can play my rerolled imp on dalborra (yes I can create toons there and play but heaven forbid I be allowed to transfer to the server even though it is a destination server), I can play on Vonsker until BW forces my toons to merge to Harbinger or I can just ignore my toons. The ironic thing is BW has screwed over the Oceanic population with their constant maintenance down time during prime raiding times that most of my guild has cancelled their subs and we now play TSW and were playing the GW2 beta this weekend.

This thread is making me have a good laugh. Most open forum Pvp fun ever had since ingame open world Pvp died. Someone should take down names and watch the forums a few months from now and see if the nothing wrong with the game nay sayers change their tune to Omg what happened to game ,where is everybody.

Cause you all well experienced MMo player's know when a game has mass amounts of sub losses all the people who argued that the game was fine .End up finally way after the fact start ************ the flaws.

I cant wait to see the finacials of the next few months from Ea .So people can choke on the facts they are all about arguing over now. So long to wait for them but well worth it.

you do realize those Dynamic Events in GW2 aren't really dynamic at all? In fact 90% of them are kill X or collect Y. . .even if they dont give you a number and you just kill or collect until the meter fills up.

how was that any different from the rhakgoul event? you went to different places killed X amount of rhakgouls, collected X amount of objects, clicked on X amount of mission items. doesnt change the fact BW could only do it once in 7 months and its a common accurance in a game still in beta lol.

only differance in the GW2 events is there is no competition everyone is rewarded for thier level of participation and you dont have to worry about someone tapping a mob before you because you can both attack the same mob get quest credit and loot.
