Someone like you complained that it was a waste of time, apparently, so they don't do them anymore.

there was that event where a gm followed around players as a droid and harassed them if that can be considered a dynamic event

yes, besides 1.3 since April new content or any events have been whispers on the wind.

I was pointing out to the person I quoted that the graph they linked didn't support what they said.

I agree it doesn't matter how many subs a game starts with. But it seems we have been a minority on these forums since launch.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to prove to me......
Perhaps you should look at the chart again. The person you quoted stated "A year into the release of WOW, they had several times more subs than what SWTOR has ever had, and were breaking records and getting awards. "

The chart does reflect that.Q4 2005 (1 year after) shows over 5 million subs. Perhaps you looked at the zeros wrong.

Again though... It was a different market back then as MMOs were not mainstream. WoW is an anomoly but you are still wrong.

that would be ideal but i think unrealistic. i'd be fine with every 6-8 weeks. unfortunately we've had one in 28 weeks. kinda sad.

You're right, I was reading the quarters wrong. My apologize to Rassuro.

Yes, yes...it was a different market back then. And yes, WoW is an anomaly. I'm not the one who brought it up, I was just pointing out what I thought was a mistake. Thank you for correcting me.

Not really the "players will be logging in to see if something has changed" they were hoping for with this kinda pace either!
