Games like this don't need to do PAY win. They just make new graphics for weapons, armour, pets and mounts with different skins and player fork over a fortune for it. Just like WoW

WoW just makes are new cute pet and then prints a ton of money with it.

Time will tell who's right here.

And started with what?

ya.

Since hardcore PvPers are always crying for nerfs and doing away with VO stories in favor of things they want, and F2Pers and trying to change the model of this game from one I will play to one I won't play: yes, I'd be okay with more people leaving, to put it bluntly.
I suppose you're right, all those folks want is the game to cater specifically to them. How selfish can some people be?

I don't think thats going to cut it. Look at the qq'ing about TOR's endgame as an example.
No different then GW1.

If your played as a PvE focus, you bought the wrong game IMO.

We agree but gamers don't seem to research games properly before they jump in and then scream blue murder when the game isn't what they imagined it would be. Sound familiar?

SWTOR really needs some kind of World or Galaxy wide PVP system. And I think there should be some kind of very large battle, much like Wintergrasp in WoW. This will add another level to the end game stuff. We'll see what ends up happening. But I really like SWTOR, and I'm absolutely loving rolling alts. So far the Agent storyline has been great all around.

If you are implying this logic is with before TOR was launched, I must disagree. TOR was followed by a large group of players for years and the preception for what the game was going to be was not the same as what it turned out to be. A good example would be the crafting in TOR. The developers said it would not be as in depth as SWG, but would be better than WoW's is. And when you watched the videos of it before launch it certainly looked that way. But afterwards, you found out that was a joke. If anything WoW's is better.

Another example would be your choices would make a dynamic difference in your game world in TOR. Another one which in reality it made no difference at all in the outcome of the char's story. Only in light side and dark side points and companion relationships. And really...what benefit is there to be Light or Dark sided in alignment? I mean you can even turn off the Sith corruption.
Many of those who followed the game for years have left for reasons the game did not turn out as it was advertised.
One thing I will give credit to Arena Net is...they are pretty upfront with the features of GW2.

There are good reasons for the 5 buttons. They change depending on what weapon you have equipped and you can switch weapons and thus what skills to use on the fly very fast.

Like how you can many skills on a skillbar, and knowing the right time to use them? Different AC's mean different approachs and set-ups and can be just as on the fly as something that has 5 skills that swap with weapons.

And all the 5 skills swapping with changing weapons is just a hidden skillbar tbh. Its there you just can't use it.

I cannot debate this much because I have not played the game myself to know how that feature feels. But from watching the game play videos, those playing it seemed to like it because it helped a lot to unclutter the UI and more of a feeling of watching the game play environment rather than the tool bars.
