Swtor Same sex romances, what happened?

All this fuss for a few dialogue choices that allow you to see a black screen and the illusion that your toon actually had sex with that companion. Personally, when it comes to rpg games, I pretty much do everybody whether the comp is male or female, simply because I can in the game. My actual sexuality has no relevance "in a game", and for this reason, I do not understand why people would care this much.. Some games have it to where everyone is either gay or bisexual, and the storyline to go along with these romances feel dry, except for maybe one or two. Some players just cannot enjoy a game until they can do every npc in game, including astromech droids.

We have no idea how far along SGRAs are in the process. Considering the were being talked about in beta, and the devs already know which companions will have this option, it's probably a pretty safe bet that the writing is either done, or nearing completion.

We have no idea how far along more stories are in the process. Considering MMOs are dynamic and rely on constant updates, it's a pretty safe bet to say that they are also already written. It would even be surprising if BW wasn't ready to push 1.4 to public testing, 1.5 to internal testing, and put the finishing touches on 1.6. MMOs don't work on a one-at-a-time schedule, and the existence of one project doesn't necessarily get in the way of another.

Also consider the possibility that SGRAs may take the form of new companions included WITH major stories updates. Win-win.

Except this isnt a democracy. Bioware makes things the masses want as much as you dont want to agree with it, and it saved EVE too, and It is ESPECIALLY important to cater to the masses at such an early stage of the game. If this was maybe a year an half to two years old you could bring in niche like same sex relationship, because after 1.5-2 years "hopefully" most of the bugs have been worked out and the game's direction has a lot of substance to it, e.g chapter stories, planets, playable characters.

But if it related to the republic I understand, but there is also the Empire that is completey different in terms regarding the minority, it doesnt value importance of a minority as much as the republic and Bioware has to be like this at this point, so we can have a lot of content that is accessable to everyone.

Exactly! It's a load of raging over a tiny tiny part of the game. Shows just how large some people's hate is though, which is sad.

Yes I agree with it being a win-win, but given Bioware track record at releasing major things together has been less the consistent unfortunately . Its either one thing or the other, hopefully it will change in the future.

I say this game is racist against the chiss, considering there isn't enough romances with chiss npcs.
