Swtor Same sex romances, what happened?

I wouldn't say its law so much as it is just going to be implemented. I would also speculate that if the feature is added then a content feature should be added for parents who do not want their children subjected to it. However just because BW says it is going to be implemented does not mean it will be as desirable as you all think. In fact we have all seen how the romancing is in the game currently. So in all actuality I would be willing to bet that the story line will be no different then it is currently, but you will be able to have the romance so to speak with the same sex or the option to not. Key in on where I said my speculation.

His post suggests being gay is wrong, that it will harm children if they are subjected to a storyline I
involving something gay. That's a homophobic, uneducated attitude. One that shouldn't be tolerated because its an opinion. There are lots of people out there with opinions they know are very very wrong.

If subs drop due to the gay option, option that is, as in it's not being forced upon anyone, then I would be flabbergasted.

What I "suggest" as you so like to say, is that kids do not need to be getting any ideas that being gay is encouraged. If you are gay, fine. But to push kids in that direction by subjecting them to gay sexuality at such an impressionable age, is dangerous. Being gay is something that people accept because that's you and that is how you are. We can accept that as long as it is something you keep to yourself and don't flaunt it upon people who are attracted to the opposite sex. I do not want my daughter desensitized at a young age and thinking that playing with other girls is ok, because "the people in the game do it" or "the people on TV do it, so it must be ok for me to do too, this is what grown ups do".

As far as me being "homophobic"? I have a half brother who is VERY gay, I can not tell you how many people I had to beat the piss out of to protect him due to his sexual preference. Don't go telling me that I am homophobic. I take EXTREME offense to that.

It was you jumping to conclusions that brought this conversation to an area I feel it should have never went. It was you being on the defensive that brought this about and it is you who obviously have a phobia to homophobics so severely, that you can no longer tell the difference anymore between a man speaking his small opinion, and a man who fears what he does not understand.

Did you or did you not say that there should be a warning for parents that gay content was in the game? Just a simple yes or no will clear it up.
