Swtor Same sex romances, what happened?

Even gay guys?

So what your saying is that it shouldnt be ignored but forced upon everyone. If you want to play with a gay companion then RP with them all you want. You can kiss a companion with an emote just the same as I can.

What your really saying is that the game has to put it in because you want it. I want free flight space missions and I want to hunt jedi and I want to have houses etc etc etc. If you dont like that this game doesnt have same gender romances then sorry this game isnt for you, quit and go find a game that does.

I'm aware that people have different opinions, that's fine with me. Virtually everything posted in these forums is opinion.
In all honesty, I'd prefer my games without any romancing. But if they include romance, then it should represent straight and gay.
The trouble with this subject is that there are alot of people who are blatantly homophobic, and there are some people that aren't necessarily homophobic, but are a bit put off by the whole thing. Equality takes time, I understand that. Just looking at history tells us how long it can take. We live in a different kind of world now, one where the media plays a huge role in most of our lives. So again, I'm sorry to the people that don't agree, but if there's going to be straight romance in games, in films, on telly, there have to be some gay ones too, to be fair. I know it's tough for some people to take, but that's life I'm afraid. There's things out there I'm not happy about, but just because I don't like it it doesn't mean it shouldn't exist.

the only thing i wanted to state is that BW as fail to deliver and to broke promises before so many times, that
at this rate we are closer to see this game going F2P than the SG relationship arcs they promise, and while this maybe just a guess.. no one can say im wrong too, since all We do have are guess.

I don't want it to be forced upon anyone, but I don't want to have just the straight option. There should be a choice. Simple really.
I'm not saying the game has to put it in because I want it, I'm saying it should go in in the interest of fairness to all players. Without the gay option some players are left out, with it, all players are catered to. Do you really have a problem with that?

More than likely, they introduce new companions rather than try to rewrite the current ones to offer up same sex options. This takes time, and when they're still trying to get the game stabilized, it's probably a low priority.

Also, EA is a cosigner on the lawsuit against the Defense of Marriage Act (along with Viacom, Zyga and Microsoft) that bans same sex marriage in the US, meaning that they're actually doing something a little more productive towards your actual civil rights than just putting it into a game. Accept the real victories, while waiting for the symbolic ones.

I do, can't we have a game without Gays being in it

Yeah, cos we all know there's gays in 99% of games. You're doing nothing else but trolling and I for one will not respond to you in future.
