It has been stated that it won't be providing it for now. Does not mean they won't be doing it after release or in next expac. Plus the game may not have gear treadmills as in getting stats but there are treadmills for cosmetics therefore I can easily foresee cash shop on items even if it's just for cosmetics only. That actually gives them more of a reason to implement it in the future.

I'm playing the GW2 beta right now, and I can definitely say that the art design and the PvP are hands down better than SWTOR's. There is no contest at all in that department.

PvE, not so much. The best thing about SWTOR is easily the 1-50 leveling process. After that, It gets boring fast.

To each their own. Personally I found the GW2 beta to be quite boring with clunky combat/animations. I didn't care for their pvp system at all.

TOR might have flaws, but... tell me, I love Star Wars and good story telling, I care about PvP also. .. So what is alternative for me on MMO market now?

GW might be exeptional in PvP compare to TOR.
WoW might be exeptional in PvE comapre to TOR.

But neither of them have fraking lightsabres!
I can't even think why the hell I would change this all that BW provided for completely different game like wow, gw, etc ... all that work and days spent in TOR, all those friends I'm daily playing with.

TL;DR no reason for me to even try another MMO right now.

You don't like the game? Get out...it's as simple as that. Or...unless you LOVE to stay and try to convince yourself you are having fun bashing it? That's insane..sorry buddy

The whole point of SWTOR is to have the best leveling experience while playing the game that is possible in an mmo! They have stated that from the beginning! The whole darn game is the endgame here...why don't people get that!? It's an experience..not just "lol...game begins at 50 scrub" mmo. It's an actual experience!

Google is your friend.... Ncsoft bought Arenanet in 2002. There would have been no Guild Wars without them as they were struggling to get a publisher with the B2P business plan.

The one thing that I really dislike about GW2 is the way my character floats over the ground and that the ground is being pulled towards you, instead of the character is actually walking. After playing months of SWTOR, where characters actually makes contact to the ground, it was a real annoyance to me. Maybe even a gamebreaker.
