Except people have beta tested GW2(myself included) and have given it glowing reviews.
See the difference?

Yeah, people at EA want to make money but its stupid to think they didnt plan on SWTOR most likely ending up with average player base. Luckily the stock hits will force upper management changes eventually so its just a rocky point in their History.
You play in a way that most people would consider pretty casual, you never play on weekends, and only play 1-2 hours per day regularly, yet you've still hit max level on two characters and nearly depleted the PvE content of the game on a casual player's schedule.

How can you not realize that this is one of the larger problems with the game? If you've depleted the content of the game playing it in a way that most people would consider pretty casual, can you imagine how bored people are that play the game for 3 or 4 or more hours per day?

It's great and all that from your perspective this game is solid and going strong, but if you're the type of player that Bioware and EA really had targeted as their chosen demographic, it is no wonder that this game is failing as an MMO.

Also, it's stupid to assume that they planned on having an average player base but are being forced to make changes because of it. If they planned on it, they wouldn't need to make reactive changes as a result of their plan working.

Except I've beta tested GW2 myself, twice, and cancelled my preorder the game sucked so much. See the difference?

.
Until companies /devs come to the conclusion that they must develop a game with all the current in game options and idea's driven by the general gaming populance that has been cultivated over the years and have all that in at launch from the start . I think your right no mmo will ever take top spot from Blizzard.

If this game had the full list of expected up to date modern ingame customizable options , proper Pvp and fixed Pve bugs(that were clearly pointed out in closed beta ) at launch ,this game would have really taken off and would have held its orginal subscription count a lot better.
Fact is the game needed to be equal or better than the competition's current stuff out there,no more no less.It needed to have all of the options that have been cultivated over the years by others, the expected level of development as seen in others.Far, far to many things that were not simply in at launch that should have been.Closed beta they were told so

It sucked so bad that you beta tested it not once, but twice, and spent, by your own admission, nearly 50 hours playing it over the course of two beta sessions. Are we talking two beta weekends here? That is a lot of time to spend on something during your weekend that you apparently hate.

I know I don't waste weekends doing things that I think suck, just sayin'.

*edit* Haven't beta tested GW2 myself, personally I never enjoyed the original GW and see no reason why GW2 would appeal to me.

Frankly. i think the people who do nothing but scream "i will unsub, unsubbing, unsubbing after 20 days" yet are somehow always still around she just be permenantly banned by bioware, and IP blocked from the website.

Nope

People beta tested TOR and gave it glowing reveiws and negative reveiws

Dont know what reveiws your reading but what Ive read has stated GW2 PVP is superior but its PVE is about as basic and unappealing as you will find in a MMORPG today and has absolutely no outstanding features.

So not sure how you classify that as "glowing"

Fact is most beta testers (myself included) give a title far more leeway in beta then you would in retail

Once you pay for something, be it a box/digital download cost or a monthly subscription, your level of expectations rise and things that were "its ok, they will fix that" just 2 weeks ago in beta now become "how could you freaking launch with that unfinished content" when retail hits.

And GW2 will be no different. The over all satisfaction of GW2 by players will decrease signifigantly once game out of beta.

And since the number 1 reason a HUGE majority of players play these games (PVE) is already being panned in reveiws, it will not take long for GW2 interest to dwindle and for those players to find the next big thing to follow and hype up.

GW2 is not the savior of MMORPGs and from all serious reports seems to be looking at the same niche market GW1 catered to.

So yeah, I dont see this difference your speaking of?
not at all.
In regards to lessening F2P and Preferred restrictions
In GAMING, as in LIFE,
You get what you pay for
No game restriction is so dire that $15.00/month will not eliminate it

Hearing similar things from my old Eve corp amd Wow guild. The reoccurring theme in their reviews seems to be, "If you liked GW1 then I have good news..." throw in complaints of ultra lag during world events and some crashes to desktop... it doesn't look good.
I only get paid when I survive. I like getting paid.

i had a recurring 1 month sub and ended it a few days ago. i was going to play until it ended but i cant go on wasting my time playing a boring game with nothing to do. i will not be logging in again.

i was probably one of the biggest fans of this game, i really wanted to see this game be the best. i thought this was going to be the game to end all mmos. i used to defend this game so much, saying it will get better. i was in the first beta too. well its not going to get better, and im leaving before i have to watch it die. the second i saw the space combat trailer i thought bioware was trolling us, and from then on i started losing faith in this game.

this game just isn't fun. leveling feels like a job, and besides warzones, endgame content is non-existent. 6 months and a few flashpoints and 1 warzones is all they could come up with? flashpoints were boring the first time i played them.

its obvious bioware doesn't care about their players. iv never seen a game company completely ignore their fans like this. its almost like they are trying to kill this game. i will not make the mistake of buying another bioware game again.
