Did you play the GW2 beta?

Seriously, GW2 is a terrible game with virtually NOTHING to do. It has maybe 1/5 the content of SWTOR and no endgame. People will get bored with it after 2-3 weeks TOPS when there will be literally NOTHING to do.
Making stuff up really isn't helping you...

SWTOR has added 2 FP's, 1.5 Raids, and 1 WZ since launch. They also added 7 Daily quests in the BH area, removed 5 PvP quests and removed the Ilum PvP Zone, they also added a WB though only a very small faction of players actually get to beat it.

So they have a net gain of adding like 8 of the things you mentioned... not really sure where you get 60!?!?

Also not really sure where you heard GW2 has 1/5 the content of SWTOR? They are launching with more WZ style maps then SWTOR, more open world PvP then SWTOR, competitive PvP, more zones than SWTOR and more Features then SWTOR. If you have some evidence that shows SWTOR having some trove of hidden content I don't know about please let me know so I can admit defeat.
I tell you this: though neither he nor they yet know it, he is the greatest of all the Jedi. Jacen Solo is the living Jedi dream. Even without the Force, he is more dangerous than you can possibly imagine."

You read a little too much into what I said with that. I am saying "what do people want?" My opinion is that ALL MMOs have a short shelf life. Moreso now than before. SWTOR isn't a bad game. It just isn't a great game. Good luck finding a great game out there. They are fewer and further between, in my opinion (though I have high, nostalgic hopes for the new XCom game.)

I signed up for the 6 month plan to play this game. As of today, 7/19/12 my subscription runs out in 29 days. So I would suspect those who purchased the 6 month plan should have the same remaining amount of days to play.

Just curious, how many of you have around 29 days left from today, 7/19/12 and do you plan on renewing your subscription after that?
29 days left. Already canceled the autorenew. I might revisit when the game goes fully F2P, but I doubt it. When a game forces me to character transfer and lose the names I went out of my way to grab as early as possible? Yeah when that happens I generally walk away. Rift did the same to me and I canceled immediately. Haven't been back.

because unlike all these whiny morons that come onto SWTOR screaming about GW2 I've actually played the game for like 2 weeks. I put probably 40-50 hours into the game over the course of 2 beta testing runs and there is literally nothing in the game compared to SWTOR.

They have added a lot more content than you listed, you named like half of the ACTUAL places you can go and quests you can do, the BH area has 8 quests PER FACTION alone. Not to mention all of daily weekly PVE quests and achievement quests and rewards.

The point is I've played close to 50 hours of GW2, it starts out with 1/5 the content as SWTOR and as a F2P game it will release content even more slowly. You want to be hyped up about GW2, fine, it's undeserved, but fine, just don't do it on THIS site, because it's not the place for your rabid fanboyism.

I've enjoyed my time in SWToR, for the most part. But It will get put on the back burner when GW-2 releases.
I will know in the first two weeks whether or not I'll stay with GW-2 or re-sub SWToR.

I know GW2 is FTP, its not money, its time. I only have time to play one. And its not enough to split it up.

I beta tested Diablo 3 and told people "this is not the Diablo you remember. Its a decent game, but it is overhyped and you will be disappointed." Regardless people will find out for themselves.

I know exactly what you mean, and you were exactly right, D3 was nothing like D2 and a huge disappointment. I think the main problem with Gw2 is that people are expecting it to be something that it isn't. I was really hyped about it, otherwise I wouldn't have preordered the game. But after playing the beta cancelled my preorder i was so disappoint.

Wish I had returned D3 before the 30 days were up, I just kept saying to myself "maybe this nexk patch will fix everything" but each patch seemed to make the game worse not better lol.

I feel like im the only one who does month by month. I honestly am having fun playing. i usually play every day after work for about 1-2 hours. Rarely play on weekends and have two 50's Rakkata geared getig ready for HM EC. Having a blast still and have good friends to play with. I honestly dont care how many subs the game has. Yeah, people at EA want to make money but its stupid to think they didnt plan on SWTOR most likely ending up with average player base. Luckily the stock hits will force upper management changes eventually so its just a rocky point in their History.

I resubbed to max out a couple of charecters,so when this game DOES eventually go f2p ,I wont have to buy the usual cash shop items like bag space and bank space. I'll unsub after that.
