Have a nice day, OP.

For the rest of you, check the OPs posting history before believing or entertaining such manure.
Please explain to me how I am impersonating a Bioware/EA employee. You sir obviously didn't read what I posted. I posted what was said. I didn't write it myself. Please come back when you have at least one brain cell

Indeed.
Too many obvious mistakes.
Maybe a KFC employee but hardly one of BWs stuff.
As for the F2P thing it's not just SWTOR but every sub based game that will have to deal with it in some way and sometime in the near future.Even WoW.
Also not having a sub does not mean a game is free.No serious game will ever be completely free of any charge.

Bioware better get on top of this.

It seems to be much like the NGE rumours which we all believed would be rubbish but turned out to be true. And I am seeing more and more interviews of devs talking about free to play.

What I can't see is F2P working if its fluff, human like species such as Cathar, give me an interesting species and I will give you my money and access to legacy perks which I can earn for free and access to areas of the game. Unless these are amazing single or two person zones I'm not paying to end up sitting in group finder or shouting for people.

As for listening to the players I haven't seen any of that, mostly the devs have ignored what the players have said and ignored feedback from pre-beta, beta, launch and now 6 months after launch.

As for grammar you have to be kidding, someone that works on coding or technical issues may well not be able to write shakespeare. Its very easy to pick holes in someones writing but I've found some professions just don't require it and todays schooling doesn't encourage it.

Id like to know whether this is true ASAP so I can change my subscription plan. I am not going to sub for 6 months if this thing goes F2P in that time period.

Gorramit I really thought SWTOR was going to be a keeper. Lets all hope this is untrue.
Jolee: I did it all for the Wookiees.

Seems like a double standard to me.

All that can change. Just because you can get it "free" now doesn't mean they will keep it free.

'free"= the $15 you have to pay to get access to the game currently

This is true. I was paying a sub before LOTRO went FTP. After I canceled my sub, there was 3 chars I could not access with FTP, whereas before I could.

Looks like fairly good news on the cash shop model they are looking at if it is accurate (but it probably isn't), going to be cosmetics and fluff or a way to bypass unlocking things via legacy. Nothing that will provide an in game advantage.

I do not pay 15 bucks plus 10 bucks for more tokens, no thanks. Hello anet!

Well we will see whats happend in the nexts weeks...
The way hybrid models usually work is that if you pay your $15 you get new content like the playable Cathar for free and you get some tokens free each month, if you aren't subbed you have to pay the $10 to unlock the Cathar.

The model generates some extra revenue from those subscribers who really want to get a lot of the cosmetic options but most subscribers don't pay anything more.

LoTRO runs a Hybrid model, since F2P launched I have never spent any extra cash and have picked up a few cosmetics along the way and bought the "paid" expansions from the free points they give subscribers each month.
