The interview that was pulled down wasn't because they were trying to hush up F2P rumours. It was pulled because it made took an interview out of context. The INTERVIEW that the article was written about is still online. Just the poorly worded article about the interivew is gone.

EA doesn't blame bioware in fact they have stated many times they are happy with it. The game is still above the 500k sub mark which is required for the game to be profitable.

SWG was not shut down because it would be direct competion. A game with 10k players isn't competion. It was shut down because Sony didn't want to waste any money on it. Remember SONY still has a Clone Wars MMO

To be fair a lot of what was said seems plausible, and to be fair the Legacy system is set up in such away that you could supplement it with a cash shop. Nothing in that quote is a far stretch. Whether or not its true is a different story altogether

The most effective way to lie to a person is to tell it in a way that sounds plausible to them. Until there is official word from BW/EA proving this to be a fact, it's a rumor and nothing more.
