No complaints.

But I'm an adult and I don't have an entitlement complex unlike these other guys.

Worth it for the tangible extras, Malgus, the journal, etc. The digital extras are pretty worthless IMO except for the speeder.

So... you guys are but hurt that you paid money, which I'm sure barely paid for the contents inside, because of a lack of virtual store content?

Or is this honestly something different?

For me, CE gave me... a statue, a journal w/ the timeline I won't see online no more, the security key, the soundtrack, and a bunch of other cool PHYSICAL things that I paid for. The Virtual store, that lets me make Khem look like a boss, is just a bonus.

Wow...just wow

Next the Astroturfers are going to be blaming the CE for the war in Iraq.

Bioware please do something about this compensated bashing it's getting old.

lol no.

That's like asking if it's worth it to buy the Collector's Edition of SWG now for the goggles.

you have GOT to be kidding.

every implication in your wannabe-I-know-how-the-financial-crisis-works-and-who-is-to-be-blamed aside...

ANYbody who seriously has to consider if IN GAME items are worth spending 150 Dollar/Euro on... has some other issues. because the physical items are definitely worth the money - if we are talking about .actual. worth (don't believe me? check the price lists for other Gentle Giant products)

if you honestly bought the collector's edition for the IN GAME items you didn't even know, then your money can't be that tight, after all. because yes, you should never ever make dept for a computer game. never ever.

IMO the CE was well worth it for the physical items. The statue is a limited edition, although mass produced it is probably not something they will produce more of. I value the brand new statue at around $65.00, at least. You got your open box for $55.00, which is a good deal in my opinion. Let's push the statue down to a conservative $50.00.

The game itself - $59.99 (same as digital basic version)
The statue - $50.00
The book - $15.00
Music CD, Metal case and deluxe game discs - $10.00
A free speeder that saves you 8000 credits on every character you make PLUS the in game vendor that may or may not get upgrades in the future - $15.00

The bulk of the cost goes into the physical items. The digital deluxe version, that came with the in game items but not the physical items, sold for $20.00 more than the basic version. So for buying the CE you only paid $15.00 for those in game items. You could also view the statue as costing $65.00 and the in game stuff as all freebies.

Now to the OP, you already have the physical items and you got them for a good price. The in game vendor and the mouse droid are not really big value, at the current time, so I think you have the best of what the CE had to offer. You are probably better off just keeping what you have. But you never know what Bioware will add to that vendor in the future.

That's a question only you can answer for yourself, others that say no well thats just an opinion and not your opinion..same for the folks that say yes.. I never understood why people ask these kind of questions in the forums when they can read and see everything that comes with a product, it boils down to weather you like it that much or not..I know I never listen or care what others have to say about how I spend my money, and on what.. /shrug
Do not dwell in the past, do not not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.
