Hey guys,

I'll try to keep this short so people actually read the first post this time. I always anticipated that when SWTOR launched, I would be playing it pretty much 24/7 for the next few weeks. Afterall, I've followed it since 2008 when these forums came out, checking out every friday update and listening to every ToroCast podcast each week. I was really pumped just before getting access, couldn't wait to play!

Then I got in and... I don't know. I just feel really underwhelmed. I don't feel like playing more than an hour a day. And the funny thing is, I really enjoyed the game so far! It's pretty damn perfect and exceeded alot of my expectations. But why do I feel underwhelmed? I don't know... Somehow, something just killed my hype. Maybe it's one hour server queues? Maybe the fact that people are at 50 when I'm at 10? I dunno..

Anyone else feel underwhelmed by launch?

No, not really. Will I be playing a month from now? I don't know.

I think Bioware will have to pump out a lot of features they have promised or have claimed they are "working on" fairly quickly.

Even though you say you enjoyed it, sounds to me that its just not the game for you if all you do is play 1 hour a day. It happens, we do look forward to games then find out we dont enjoy it as much as other people.

Is this your first MMO?

I felt the same but more towards the forums and the updates. Got a bit bored of all the hype but I've immensely enjoyed the game this weekend. Major wife aggro though lol

People who are level 50 did not play the game for what it's worth, remember that. They went around spamming the skip button, if they even touched their story at all.

As for the queues, it's been said many times: Be glad they are there. Have you ever played a game that either A) Gives you a 15-20 second lag in heavy populated areas? or B) Sever kept crashing? 95% of the time, this is due to overcrowding and it causes extreme stress on the server. With the queuing, it prevents it from happening.

Same here. Something is missing, but I can't put my finger on it.

Underwelmed..yet enjoyed the game and its near perfect and exceeded your expectations...

I dont think that word means what you think it means......

you might have Over hyped the game.. alot of people did..again not biowares fault. they didnt give any information for a very very long time to get people excited about..

people made this game out in their heads to be the best thing since sliced bread (sliced bread having been invented the winter before) and now it isnt living up to their expectations..

that isnt biowares fault.its yours.
