This just happens randomly ill go from 40-60 FPS and drop to 5fps for about 20 seconds and shoot back up to normal fps. sometimes this will happen without even moving, not sure what the issue is this just started to happen a few days ago. EDIT: CPU Usage goes up to 100% when this happens this started prior to patch 1.3

Greetings odesho,

I would firstly advise you to upgrade your graphics drivers as they appear to be a small bit outdated.

Please read this helpful post on how to update your drivers.

Thank you.

Hi odesho,

Please take the following steps, if you have not already:

Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Bioware\Star Wars - The Old Republic\swtor, and delete the DiskCacheArena file. Then restart the game and run the repair function on the launcher.

It may also help to perform a clean boot and attempt to run, to check if any other programs are interfering with the game's performance.

Check that you have the latest Service Pack and Windows Updates installed for your operating system, including optional updates such as .NET Framework and Visual C++ features.
