TOR has had the least amount of downtime of any MMO I have played in the last 13 years.

I do wish they would add dual spec into the game. It would be nice to be a healer or DPS when my mood called for it.

Except he is ignoring the fat that TRION and BIOWARE are competitors. So Bioware can't simply take Trions copywrited software without Trion's permission, so Bioware really does have to develop thier own.

Greetings,

We have heard the community's request for a dual spec feature. Senior Designer Austin Peckenpaugh touched on the subject in a recent Community Q&A:

Quote:
Kiper: My question is are you still considering some sort of dual talent option, and if so is there an ETA?

Austin: This is definitely a feature we hope to provide in the future, but we don't have any details to share at this time (including an ETA).

We have nothing new for you on this feature at this time, but as soon as we do, we will let the community know. Thanks for your feedback!

The what? Sorry, they didn't advertise... at all. That's by those people that did the Conan tutorial right?

Uh...yeah...that's why Bioware has 400+ employees working on this game, to make and develop it themselves. Were you under the impression that they could just copy&paste it here?! Or is that what you thought "I" was thinking? Creating a unique Dual Spec system that doesn't infringe upon existing copyrights is extremely simple to do...I assure you, it's most certainly not holding this back and they sure as hell don't need to ask 'permission' lol. Bioware is holding this back, not lawyers.

Secret world is actually really good which is surprising coming from Funcom. The Full VO is really just on the quest giver side though, you never hear your own character speak or are given opportunity to converse/react to what they're saying.

A few of my old guild mates tried the game out after a review that I wrote for the beta... last I checked 10+ more have bought the game since. If you really like horror type settings and things rich with lore, that game should definitely be checked out. ((If you know someone who has it, ask them to refer you. Each current subscriber can send a 24 hour pass to someone for them to try it out... it's also why 10+ of my old guildmates have now bought the game))

Who knows? Are they really making it or are they waiting till we forget. Those companys promisses a lot and have a history of not fullfill it. Guilds supposed to have capital ships (another legend). Blizzard said pre-cata, "paladins will have a CC with the shield, a blind in a frontal cone" nothing till now.

So "coming soon" have a lot of translations
may be a week, a patch, a month, several months, a expansion, may be on other game or sometimes never.

You need a Q&A comment regarding dual spec and "soon"? Here's one for ya:

Aurozia: Will there be a dual specialization system in the future? Will there be a possibility of changing advance classes as well?

Daniel Erickson: We have no plans for switching advanced classes - which we see as fundamentally different class designs- but dual spec is in the works and coming soon.

Anyway, THANK YOU OP FOR SPELLING "DUAL" RIGHT! You know how many complainers I see who say "we need duel spec plz" I hate it. Its basic spelling. /rant off

Also, DUAL spec isn't really needed in this game right now.

EDIT: I see what you did there...missed the rolls eyes portion...nothing to see here move along.
