And yet here we all are paying for the crappy tech support and server shutdowns. Maybe they are just really good at making money? ;p

It's not the game itself that I hate. It's the people in the company that represents them that makes this game unworthy of my money or /care. Once this account expires it will be adios.
It's because that thread wasn't dissent and constructive criticism or concerned posts requesting information. It was just a ***** fest from immature people like yourself.

1 day in 8 months the server goes down without (and with depending on the server) a warning and everyone looses their ****. It's a game. It's one day. You'll get back in game and all will be fine. Grow up and act like this isn't your first trip around the sun.

well they did say it would "hopefully" solve issues, when i say that it means if this doesn't work I'm gonna have to call someone at home, and they will not be pleased to be hearing from me.

I see your point, but they did know that the servers were going down, the were kind enough to post it on the forums. So how much harder or longer would it take to make at least one server wide annoucement that the server will be going down. Probably just as long as it took me to write this post. They knew something was up posted on the forums and hit the switch, but failed terriblly to communicate that with their consumers. And this is why there is a spit storm going on, it is called costomer service, in which they just had an epic fail.

On our server (The Bastion) there were in-game notifications.

Whenever the servers go down, it reminds me I have something else I was supposed to be doing. So, I can deal with it . My concern is; a LOT of other people won't.

BioWare: These are not the Server shutdown messages you were looking for.....(waving mouse in a very Jedi way)
SWTOR User community: (drone like response) These are not the Shut Down message we are looking for....
BioWare: You will continue to play your game as if nothing was typed and without concern....
SWTOR User community: We will continue to play nothing is of concern....
BioWare: You will freak out on the forums about this atrocity against all users with extreme negativity....
SWTOR User community: We will start many threads of unnecessary complaining.....
BioWare: Are work here is done....(evil laughs)

I sort of agree, but I don't really see what the point of such a warning would be other than for courtesy.
