HA!! Similar. I went and got a bottle of water, came back...and logged off. "CRAP!! I thought we paid the intern...oh...we did."

Usually when I get system messages, they're all red and right in the middle of my screen. This time...I got nothing. Just...BAM! Server down. If it was meant to show in that Yellow "System Information" text? I shut that off on my general tab. That's never affected previous system alerts though.

Sooo...kinda bummed they didn't get it on the "big screen" for everyone to see.

Are you refering to the silver bowes? Those are mission items, you're not supposed to be able to open them, and I get the same mail EVERY WEEK. Not really bothered by that but I still I havent figured out why there are 4 boxes in the mail when they're unique and I can only carry one.

I think if they gave us a warning when the servers were coming back up. Have it flash on my screen...now how would they do that?
Anything that is done repetitively can be done by a computer. That is why right brained people will eventually rule the world.

I wont call you a liar because perhaps they actually did do this for your server, but for The Harbinger we did not get any notice at all. I am going to use the multiple threads and few hundred posts as my proof.

No warning here, only reason I knew about it beforehand was people complaining about it in general chat, anybody who said that Bioware did a countdown before the servers died is lying through their teeth.

How long can it take to restart servers? Are they running on a 25 MHZ comps or what?
