I like how that is all you got from that long post.
Date Joined: March 2009 - Date unsubbed: 9/18/2012
It's been real but the game just wasn't worth the sub for me anymore.

And yes 1-1.3 million. Those are the last official numbers and until we are given new ones that is what we go by. 1.2 and 1.3 have since come out and I have personally seen many friends return to the game, so I feel that I am too ignorant of the ebb and flow of the subscriptions to state that I know otherwise, as would any reasonable person.

And why stick around posting if you are full of such disdain for this game? You are seeking a social confirmation of people agreeing with you when honestly most of us don't. There's 3-4 of you that post the same crap in every thread and confuse yourselves with some sort of majority. Most of us are happy since 1.3 and see the game trending upwards.
There is aways a straw that broke the camel's back, or a fulcrum point. If it were just chat bubbles I would agree, but the list of deficiencies is considerable and cumulative:

No chat bubbles; no sitting in chairs; no dyes; no open 3D space game; Open World PvP closed indefinitely; 3 ships per faction for space game; no customization of ships; no player housing; no non-linear content; LS/DS progression meaningless; skill trees same as WoW; lack of randomness to mob placement/animation; no engaging non-combat activities; one path of level progression; no reason to revisit planets; poor framerate when character count is above 16 (varies); economy over controlled and flattened by Dev supplied commodities; no player mounts/multi person vehicles; Fleets exist; no real cross faction interaction; no way to cross faction lines; endgame is opposite of leveling process (sprpg vs. raids); stories arc out in limited branches and then return to same outcome (false tree); exhaustion zones; worlds over-pathed; crafting is vapid and without variation; no day/night cycle; no weather; limited playable races; over instanced; dailies ensure burn-out at endgame (get Medicine for Nautolan ad nauseum); poor design of endgame rewards; etc.

these are examples from the forums, mainly from the "I am unsubbing" and pleas for change posts.

The minute they get fanatic i stop arguing with them because as you can see they tend to hate those who disagree. I could've approach with a similar attitude but there's no point. I guess they can get over their fanatism when numbers are announced in August ( well, free trials are on the way though..) .

Chat bubbles were only a single example from many but fanboy rage is making it difficult for some people. I've reported many bugs including item display bugs to map glitches.. But you see i have to be a hater because i am not happy with the game.. How come you are so blind ? Go check some different pages on the forums, different sources..
All I can say is blindly defending will not help the game. But if that's how some people satisfy their sad ego, i guess we can only be sorry for them. There are even those who feel like they rather own the forums and can decide on who should post here, haha.. I will no longer check these forums. Enjoy the game.

I never understand the "shut up and don't complain on the forums" line. What are the forums for if not discussion? Discussion is not accord 100% of the time.

If you are not able to deal with people disagreeing with you then you should examine that.

MMOs tend to change over time (sometimes dramatically) and so if you are defending the status quo you will sooner or later be in the position of arguing against yourself when sanctioned change occurs. If sanctioned change is the same change as was suggested by "whiners" a month/year before and you suddenly agree with it when BW does it, you will no that you have no objectivity or ability to discern.

There is a difference between a legitimate complaint and whining. Most of what goes on in these very forums is purely QQ. Real complaints don't get posted in general forums.

One person's legitimate complaint is another's "whining."

Wouldn't counter complaining simply be whining about whining then?

this game could be great but its in biowars ballpark and they need to do more and hit a homerun.

I just came back to see the changes they made. I really want to like this game and play it for years but i dunno if next month bio will get my $15.

IF not ill be back in another 3 to 6 months just to see the new changes. Cheers.
I SUPPORT SERVER MERGES. I need the mmo feeling, not the single player game.
