With that logic then one should just remove conversations completely from HM encounters, I've ran Black Talon one too many times but I'll be damned If I'm such a hurry that I can't even let a newer player who hasn't seen the story yet not enjoy what Bioware has created.

I have not had this issue yet, but it does help that I am the tank and my wife is the healer. The 2 DPS either follow us or die, and if they do decide to continue to try and lead in a direction that we do not wish to go ... well then, a DPS is pretty darn easy to replace

So your signature is all about being part of a community but your attitude is all about your needs. Look its great to see cut scenes but unfortunately just like any democracy the needs of the many out weigh the needs of one. If you want to see cut scenes form a group on the fleet asking for that. Group finder helps people get groups faster to clear content faster its not their fault you quit and came back. Instead of leaving your group hanging by quitting mid run why don't you ask at the start if watching cinematics is someting they want to do? If they don't then politely leave so that they can find another from the start and you can look for another group. In no way am I saying your wrong and thir right but if you want a full experience then keep that mentality from th start by forming a traditional group on the fleet. The group finder is about efficiency and cutscenes are not efficient.

Either form a guild, or ackowledge the fact that the pug system will have rushers in the group.

You're choice is simple, watch all the cutscenes, risking a kick... or spacebar through it and run it normally.

If you enjoy, or have yet to see many of the cutscenes, the 'low level' version has it all. Anything below Colicoid wargames is very easily solo'd as a 50.

Just announce that you'd like to not spacebar through the story when you start. It's more common than not to spacebar through HM FPs, so it'll be on you to say that you'd like to experience the cutscenes (because likely the group has already seen them 10x over).

I've done it and run into no issues. "This is my first time in this FP - do you mind if we don't spacebar through?" or if I want to spacebar, "are we spacebarring through this all?" Let your expectations be known and your group will be better off

Really dont understand why people are so set on skipping cutscenes. I skip them myself, because I already saw it all and dont care BUT im not going to give anyone a hard time for wanting to do it. If someone suggests it thats fine but the first sign some idiot starts yelling or getting pushy I put him on ignore. If im a tank, I drop group or tell them off and refuse to do anything until one of us is gone.

Oh no! Someone is taking a total of five minutes from your miserable pathetic life playing the game how its meant to be played. The horror! Quick ... whine like a 5 year old. Haha.

I especially like the idiots who drop group because of it. Theyd rather wait for the queue debuff, wait in queue again for who knows how long ... all because someone was listening to 5 minutes of dialogue. lol

BTW I dont really see a way anyone can tell whose skipping or not. You can skip all you want, the icons show "..." until its time for everyone to roll on the dialogue choice. So really, if you want to have some more fun, join in on the "OMG SPACEBAAAAR" and laugh at their idiocy.

Role on an RP server - we're far more relaxed when it comes to people listening to conversations.

Why are people surprised that they get pushy Spacebar Heroes via the LFG tool? PuG's are a mixed bag.
