while I have empathy don't expect it.. Last year when all of the flooding in the upper midwest was going on there was 'no free game time'.. and again while I empathize at least you only without power. Unlike many in the western united states wild fire path.

It's probably stated somewhere in SWTOR's terms of service that Bioware won't do this sort of thing, but I think it would be a show of good faith to credit any affected accounts (those with active subscriptions from Eastern areas that haven't logged in since Friday evening) with at least a few days of game time. I realize that this is a bit much to ask, however I and a great many other players would certainly appreciate it.
I partially agree with you.

I believe people should get subscription credit. But Bioware shouldn't be paying for it. I think you, OP, even though is a bit much to ask, could buy everyone subscription time. I and a great many other players would certainly appreciate it.

It's a nice thought and I'm sure they'd love to but consider the bigger picture - there are so many kinds of hardship, the logistics of dealing with the multitudes of people who would use fairly and need to be evaluated (and in some cases denied) and the greater majority who would abuse the generosity generally makes this kind of thing a total mine field for all kinds of companies, everywhere.

Still, there are a lot of smart people around.. maybe they can figure a way of doing it that doesn't leave them exposed.

Seriously? Up to 3 million people without power at one point and 20+ people killed and you want some game credit?

Put a claim in with your insurance and do us a favor and delete this post. You are clearly a fool.

I completely understand the no answers guys. I only wanted to know whether Bioware has ever extended (or would in this case extend) game time towards paying customers rendered unable to play for extended periods of time. I realize now that there is no precedent for this, and that I should expect nothing... which I already did.

I think the chances of them giving credit to you guys is as slim as having a week without 3 or more maintenances......

serious tho, at least its not like SONY when they took all of their services down for a month or two, something like that calls for compensation.

Part of life, you run out of luck certain days and it randomly happens, no one can control nature, no one would believe if you had power outage as you can even just look up a random picture of a power outage.

I don't know the precedent that BW has for this sort of thing. I can only tell you that when Katrina hit Louisina Sony/SWG did give those people some game time. But each company is different.

I do hope everyone is doing okay in your area especially with regard to the heat. You have my concern and my prayers that everyone will be okay.
