Please, do not run like fools through the HM Flashpoint/Operation.

Tanks and healers are not expected to cope with dumb DPSers pulling by themselves with only 1/4 HP.

Nor are healers expected to cope with mindless Tanks pulling more than they can hold and rushing through the instance without caring about his health and where and how is the healer.

Thank you.

Also: If you chose the DPS role, don't try to be a healer or a tank. You're probably not specced or geared for it, and if you are, you should have chosen the proper role.

This is where the healers should ignore those individuals that do these things. Let them die. I would. If they don't know their role, then they don't deserve to be saved nor do they deserve to stay in the op.

This, if dps are pulling aggro because they are stupid, then don't heal them. They will get the clue.

As the tank I simply tell the healer if he wants me to slow down to tell me. I typically check peoples resource and health levels before I pull a large group. I do like to keep the train moving though. Also don't care for whiny healers who can't heal very good and blame everyone else for it. A good healer can handle some bad pulls but a bad healer cannot adjust.

But I do agree with DPSers staying behind the tank and letting him grab aggro first. I get less heals when they do that because the healer is trying to keep them alive instead of me. If they jump out in front of me too many times I stop tanking and wipe them.

When healing I have the philosophy that a good healer is a healer that is not noticed.

I mean, people can do whatever they want (to a reasonable limit) without caring for their lives, because the healer is reliable.

But sometimes, people just cross the 'reasonable limit' and starting acting like utter fools.

It is when I quit healing and respec to DPS fer ye trolling. When they ask I just reply: So since we are not holding roles anyway, I decided to go DPS lol

But unlike other MMO's you cant res the dead players so you are only weakening your team by letting them die.. unless you like to wipe constantly.. in which case its easier just to kick and seek another

With the lack of control the GF gives you in forming your group.. this kind of thing is going to happen just like in random pre-made Wz's.. You get what you get im afraid.

Its a weaksauce GF imo... I would much rather be able to place an LFM on a group finder detailing the content I am looking to run, the classes I am seeking for group, the lvl range (if not endgame content) and be able to see who is applying and if necessary inspect them before I ACCEPT or DECLINE.. but thats just me.

I agree to just about everything stated. As a Tank, I can't stand when DPS rush into a group and pull everything without letting me jump in first. A lot of the time, I am waiting for the healer to cool down or get their force back, etc. With that said, I do like to keep it moving so I try to go fast without compromising the group.

Also, if you are a DPS, click the correct role in the group finder. I can't tell you how many times the group finder popped and a DPS says, " oh, sorry. clicked healer by accident". Now we get to wait again for an actual healer.

I like this. As a tank I have had some great healers, some who are decent, and others who are just terrible. Really it comes down to understanding the roles like you said later on. I get annoyed when I pull a group in, and the healer is steady using his ammo/force what have you on attacking instead of healing, then complaining that I'm dying too quickly. I also have had some teams who understand communication, and some who don't. We (tanks), need to know if you aren't ready, or are ready to proceed. But, the previous poster is right, we don't want to be sitting there waiting for an extended period of time. I know healing isn't the easiest thing to do, and I respect any healer that comes by. I just dislike when they themselves go out of role and them complain what's going on, or getting defensive when someone asks them to just focus on healing. Really that goes to any role, focus on your role.

I do find it interesting that the group finder assigns roles sometimes. I'm a tank, but if I get selected to a damage role I switch off ion cell, and stay back until the tank goes. If the tank struggles I have the ability to pull away from him so he can recover. I don't know if that's a good strategy, but it seems like a legit one to me. Who knows.

Was just having a conversation with a guildmate about this. Get into the HM and the Guardian "Tank" is spec'd for DPS. Or the Tank (or anyone else for that matter) is grossly undergeared in PVP armor. It is especially bad when it is the tank.

As a Commando healer, I run into a lot of instances when I am trying to reload between fights and for whatever reason someone gets impatient during my 5 second reload and pulls something stopping my reload and sending us into a big fight with me at half ammo.

There is also an abundance of people who desire to take NO direction or advice whatsoever.
