Interesting. You spew opinions as facts. Yet when someone disputes your opinions with actual facts, you dismiss those facts as nothing more than opinions. Then claim to not care less about those facts (and I won't mention anything to you about getting the saying wrong. Oops. I guess I will), despite caring enough to mix up what opinions and facts are and putting those thoughts out in public.

So knowing the actual, factual history of the company and researching the most lauded features of said history is opinion, now? So what qualifies what you said as "FACT"?

This is a mass-market MMO, it is unlikely any content would require you to purchase a joystick to be competitive, it would not have a sufficient number of players using it to be viable. Personally I think the best you could hope for is a freelancer style (mouse position turns and aims) but a STO type targeted system is more likely (though if they restrict vertical climb angle like they did in that game i will be really annoyed).

This sort of addition would be an expansion, dont expect it patched in for free. It would be nice to have this year, but next year is more realistic IMO.

the super secret space project is actually just BW putting a bathroom on your ship...
"bibo ergo sum" ( I drink, therefore I am)

Teamwork is essential; it gives the enemy other people to shoot at.

Actually it would be an enormous undertaking. Since they already built their code around the alpha engine code, they would essentially need to obtain the new engine code and rewrite all their game code from scratch to fit the new engine code (it's not gonna happen).

You can think of it like a building built on an unsolid foundation. You can go in and try to build that foundation up but everything above it is already dependent on the unsolid foundation and moving things around causes walls to come crashing down. It's far easier and more efficient to just pour a solid foundation and build atop that.

You can think of code like that. The engine is a series of functions that all do different things, and BW essentially wrote all their code based on those functions (which don't allow for 200v200). If you wanna go back now and change those core engine functions, everything dependent on it comes crashing down and you have to rewrite it all over again.

Those numbers are almost as recent and certainly as accurate as the subscription count, yeah?

If anything can be said about Bioware's mistakes regarding ilum and pvp, it's that they make a lot of them, and when they don't repeat them, they find new ones to make. They botched Ilum. Then they wrecked their valor system by botching it again. Then they nullified the impact of valor ranks, changing their entire pvp system to a commendation based system with no rank requirement, because of how giant of a mistake 1.1 was. Then they completely scrapped Ilum. They even did a terrible job of making it seem like they had planned all of those blunders from the beginning.

Are you sure we're thinking the same Bioware? They tend to repeat their mistakes fairly often, especially on this specific subject.

Eventually IMO they will rewrite it all again but when I say eventually I'm talking years

I imagine that the people that helped design what engine we currently have got let go during the lay offs.

It's been real but the game just wasn't worth the sub for me anymore.
