How is this game doing?

I haven't played TOR in forever, but I still think it's a sweet game. I just got burned out like a lot of people, there's nothing wrong with that. I'll probably play more when I feel like I can put the time in.

My opinion on how the game is doing doesn't matter much, but clearly this game is doing better than a lot of other games. That alone is some kind of accomplishment.

It's an amazing game. The fact that it's dying is a rumor, a myth. But, I suggest you play yourself and see what you think. Just remember to play on a more populated server like Shadowlands or Fatman.

Translation : don't play to much there is nothing that has replay value on new characters. so take as many breaks as possible so it falls under the illusion there is tones of stuff to do.

Here is the truth.

It's a great game, if you can play lag free and on a server with people on it. When the GTN has gear in it, and it is possible to get into a FP, Op or warzone with little or no wait time this game rocks.

The reality for many though is, every patch = something broken time spent repairing your game, server transfers offered to only servers with a wait time is crazy, lag in the fleet and most warzones, fp or ops = death and repairs. Many of the new features in 1.3 are cool IF you don't mind grinding for credits as most of the legacy stuff is a credit sink.

Bioware is still learning how to manage customer service and like most mmo's it takes awhile to find your feet, they've had 6 months to get it down, many are running out of patience, many are patient (I normally am but this free transfer thing has me on edge seeing as how I have toons on two separate servers and with free transfer I will still have toons on two separate servers and both servers with wait times) It just seems that many of the things BW does they do half way so it makes half the people happy and the other half angry

So as many have said, .log in, play and decide for yourself since you won't find a rational answer here it is either all PRO or all CON.

My mains & guild are on Drooga's, and I play alts with friends on Jedi Covenant & Beregen. All are packed and active 24 x 7. There's three.

I'm very happy I re-subbed. I'm on Begeren Colony and love all the traffic. I think if they just cut out all the 'light' servers and consolidate everything, this game will be just fine.
